Rescue dogs often get a bad rap.
Many people fear that taking on an abandoned dog is more demanding – they fear that they will have baggage, or that they could be violent.
But while it isn’t always easy bringing a dog from a shelter into your home, it can be a wonderful experience too.
Photographer Nicole Simone set out to show the world that rescue dogs can have a positive impact in their human’s lives by starting the Redemption Dogs project in 2014.
