In case it’s rather passed you by, December 11 has been designated International Mountain Day by the UN.
It’s been happening since 2003 and was created to raise awareness about the importance of mountains to life – to highlight the opportunities and constraints in mountain development and to build alliances that will bring positive change to mountain peoples and environments around the world.
And to help celebrate the importance of mountains, we give you the world’s most beautiful mounts. So sexy you’ll want to climb them.
And sing on them. Naturally.
