This frozen palace was hand-carved from 5,000 tonnes of ice and snow and it will take your breath away.
Welcome to Sweden’s pop up Ice Hotel 26. Located in the village of Jukkasjarvi, the hotel opened its doors on December 11 and will melt away again when it warms up come March.
This year, visitors can stay in one of the 55 rooms, which include 19 themed suites, many of which feature stunning chandeliers, made from thousands of hand cut ice crystals. They can also make use of the hotel’s ice bar, a restaurant which boasts a Michelin-star chef, and the frozen Christmas church.
