Everyone is guilty of gossiping, and you know what? It’s okay, it’s normal. It’s what separates us from the animals.
As with all things in life, it’s about moderation. Gossiping is perfectly natural, it’s how we network and engage with those around us and as long as we don’t enter into Mean Girls territory – it’s good for us.
Robin Dunbar, professor of evolutionary psychology at Oxford University says, ‘Gossiping is just chatting with people and keeping up to date with the social world in which you live. So gossip is what makes us human.’
