Having good friends is just as important for your health as working out, says science

It might be time to swap your New Year’s resolution to work out five times a week and get in the BEST SHAPE EVER for something a little easier – but just as important.

According to a new study from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, having good friends is just as beneficial to your health and lifespan as doing exercise (H/T EliteDaily).

So maybe 2016 should be the year we spend more time with our friends, rather than on the treadmill.
