Scars are part of the tapestry of life.
Sometimes they are lessons from foolish mistakes, like attempting to choreograph a dance routine on a treadmill or trying to stroke a feral cat who clearly wants nothing to do with you.
And other times they can be powerful reminders of how strong people are – revealing how they have come through life altering events like cancer.
However they happened, they all have a story to tell and mark a passage of healing.
