Of course, going to university to get yourself a degree is totally a matter of choice, and may suit some more than it does others.
But either way, it turns out there are actually many well-paying jobs which don’t require any sort of degree.
Job search Engine Adzuna made the discovery and have released the data, which shows people without a university degree can find themselves well-paying jobs.
But, although these jobs don’t require a degree, like most jobs, some training may be required.
The lowest on the top 10 highest paying degree-not-needed jobs starts with Journalism – which offers an average income of £30,998.
Although many journalists do have university degrees, or an NCTJ, a lot of the time what you really need is some serious writing talent and, more than likely, some unpaid experience/internships to your name.
Next up is military security, which has an average wage of £35,144.
