Happy February 29th, a day where society has decided it’s the one time every four years where women get a say in marriage.
By that logic, it’s acceptable only 0.000685% of the time for women to ask men to marry them. And yet we find that a feel good story?
It leads to a special sort of groan I get to practice every February 29th.
And I suspect I’m not the only woman who shares this, what with all of these feel good articles about quadrennially empowered women finally able to propose to their beloved, if reluctant, partners.
