One-year-old Layla was born with a small cataract in her left eye. It means she has to wear a patch for two hours a day to encourage vision development.
She will probably have to wear one until she’s around four-years-old, hopefully avoiding the need for eye surgery. So, her brilliant dad Geof Grubb came up with a way of making the experience fun for her.
Each day, he customises her new eye patch. What started as raw sketches has now become something really creative.
After Geof shared his initial designs on Reddit five months ago, to massive acclaim, he’s now back with some new pics, which he shares on the laylaspatches Instagram page.
