A new study has found that sleeping in a messy room may cause people to feel more tired the next day, as well as contributing to feelings of stress and aggravating mental illness.
Researchers found that people with hoarder-tendencies, who have more stuff filling the space in their bedroom, took longer to fall asleep than those who keep their rooms neat and tidy. This led to them feeling more tired the next day, making them more likely to let things stay cluttered.
