Meet Obi, Melbourne Zoo’s baby pygmy hippo.
He’s just three-weeks-old and, this weekend, he ventured out for his first swim – with a little help from mum Petre.
Try not to melt into a blubbering mess at all the cuteness.
Apparently, Obi means ‘heart’ in Igbo, a Nigerian language. And this little guy is definitely winning a few Down Under.
The endangered little hippo is part of an international breeding program and will be one day matched with a female hippo to breed.
Until then, he’ll be hanging out with mum and dad in Melbourne Zoo, just being all cute and lovable. Because that’s how he rolls.
