Gossip – man, I love it. Nothing thrills me more than a juicy bit of news about a colleague, a new Whatsapp group pinging up on my phone entitled ‘not being a bitch but …’ or the words, ‘you swear you won’t say anything …’
However, according to Joshua Becker, an expert on human relations:
‘There are better things to talk about than other people. Gossip almost always complicates our lives rather than simplifies it and the intimate details of another person’s life should be lower on (our conversation) list than it usually is’
