Any New Year’s resolution swearing off sweets might soon go to waste, as Haribo has a brand new launch.
The confectionery giant is inviting fans to find their ‘flavour flashback’ with the soon-to-launch ‘Nostalgix’ – a mix of retro sweets.
The new share bag will offer a twist on classic hard-boiled childhood favourites, including Rhubarb & Custard, Pear Drops, Pineapple Cubes and Cola Cubes.
The website describes them as a ‘delicious mix of soft jelly sweets inspired by classic hard-boiled sweets’.
It added: ‘Each piece is the same shape and flavour, but the soft jelly texture makes them taste even yummier than you remember.’

Haribo teased the new recipe in an Instagram post, describing the sweets as ‘squidgier, softer, and yummier’ than before.
Much to the anticipation of fans, Haribo has not officially announced a release date for the treat just yet – although it confirms it’s ‘coming soon’.
However, according to the designated foodie Facebook group, Food Finds UK, they’ve been spotted in Sainsbury’s stores.
And they seem to be a success – with shoppers adamant they ‘must try them’.
One user wrote: ‘They’re so good everyone needs to try them.’ While another agreed: ‘I got these. They are amazing.’
Another passionate user wrote: ‘Omg, I don’t care if I’m on a diet I’m f***** trying these wow.’
Meanwhile, one person wrote: ‘I need these! They look soooooo yummy.’
Fans were similarly enthusiastic on Instagram, with users describing the sweets as ‘yummy’.
User @tripleatsfood wrote: ‘Can’t wait to try these,’ while @bartley01 wrote: ‘They look amazing looking forward to the release date.’

The 160g is great for sharing (or maybe just for you) and will set you back £1.25 at Sainsbury’s, or £1.10 with a Nectar card.
Shoppers are being treated to lots of retro flavours recently – with Coca-Cola bringing back a discontinued flavour that fans have been ‘wishing for’.
Coca-Cola Lime, which combines the classic Coke flavour with lime juice has hit the shelves for the first time in 17 years.
Brits have been desperate for the comeback ever since it was axed in 2007, after first launching in 2005.
On social media people have been rejoicing over the news, with some saying it’s their ‘favourite’ Coke flavour, and others admitting they’d ‘missed it’ and had been wishing it would come back.
