To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Jaws, Texans have been queuing up to watch the film on a big screen, while floating on a boat lake.
40 years after Roy Schneider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw first battled with the mechanical shark on a mission, people clearly think it’s safe to get back in the water.
While we’re pretty sure there are no sharks in the boat lake (checks for fins), it would certainly add a certain frisson to hear those dreaded da-dum, da-dums while perched atop a flimsy rubber ring, at night, your feet dangling in the murky waters.
