Every story about plus size women inevitably attracts comments from people lambasting them for being obese drains on the NHS.

But what these keyboard doctors don’t seem to consider is that perhaps being larger is the healthier option for some people.

Body positive blogger Danica Marjanović is a prime example.

She suffered from body dysmorphia as a teenager when she was a size 10 – and she says she’s much happier now at a size 16.

Smoking is now banned in every NHS mental health unit in England, under the terms of the Health Act in 2007.

Now some hospitals in England and Wales, and all hospitals in Scotland, are bringing in a blanket ban so there is no smoking in the grounds at all.
