If you were anything like me at school, you were probably praised for being incredibly bendy or double-jointed. We were the gymnastics teachers’ dream, those who could do the splits well into our late teens.

But, what happens when this supposed super power becomes a problem?

It’s very easy to forget that mental illness doesn’t discriminate.

That it can affect anyone: young, old, fat, thin, rich or poor.

Mental illness doesn’t care how successful you are. It doesn’t care how attractive you are. And it certainly doesn’t care how much money you have.

A reminder of this is Ryan Reynolds, who recently spoke to The New York Times about living with anxiety.

In a recent article, Ryan… Read the full story

    (Picture: Nestle)

Great news, Smarties fans: You’ll now be able to buy pouches of Orange Smarties.

We were super excited when we found out tubes of the smarties had made a return, but now, after completely selling out last year, Asda is introducing limited-edition, 112g pouches to its stores from 7 May.

There will only be one million packs available, and they’re expected to sell out fast given they’re most Smarties lovers favourite flavour – and the only flavour to be different to the rest of the colours.

The re-sealable bags of orange chocolates will cost £1 – which means it’s totally acceptable to buy copious amounts.

Nando’s has just launched a new sauce and it sounds delicious.

Today Nando’s took to its Instagram to unveil a new lemon and coconut sauce.

They shared a photo of the sauce bottle, alongside the caption: ‘May the sauce be with you…’ – a cheesy play on the fact it’s Star Wars day today, just in case you didn’t know (May the fourth be with you).

The product description reads: ‘It’s a well-known fact that opposites attract.

Three of the four bedrooms (two twins and a double) are on the ground floor, as well as a living area which opens up onto a deck, via double sliding doors.

No matter how streaky your legs or how orange your hands, you can take solace in the knowledge that your fake tan fail probably isn’t as bad as Danni Bruce’s.

Danni, who lives in Nottingham, said: ‘I was having a meltdown. I looked in the mirror and my whole chest was green.

Rye flatbread pizza with spinach pesto 1

This lovely green pizza is perfect for spring – it’s absolutely delicious and topped with spinach pesto, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms.

Then, when cooked, you can top with creamy avocado and lots of rocket. Delicious.

I like to serve it either on it’s own or with some more rocket, simply dressed with some good quality olive oil and lemon juice

The flatbread recipe is super versatile, it takes a little bit more time to prepare but it’s totally worth it.

A disabled dog born without his front legs now has his very own wheelchair, after being rescued from a horror hoarding situation.

Three-year-old Loki was born without any front limbs because of close breeding. He was one of 30 animals rescued from the home of a hoarder.

The chihuahua/beagle mix was adopted by office manager Katie Orsenigo, 24, and car business owner Ron Petruska, 26, last May.

They brought Loki 1,000 miles from Alabama to their home in New York but soon realized the way he scooted around on his chest was hurting his back.

A man who thought he was a ‘fat ugly loser’ after years of bullying has hit back by taking up modeling, and now strips down in front of the camera to promote plus size positivity.

Photographer John Savoia, 31, says he has been overweight all his life and was mocked for his size through school.

But in 2006, John was left bed-bound after breaking his leg, and while recovering began playing around with a point-and-shoot camera. As he recovered, he says he became restless to take pictures of the outside world and he experimented with different types of photography, including portraiture. Concerned his images would be poor, John, who is married to artist Lucy Valena, 32, turned the lens towards on himself and practiced taking selfies on timer. A grumpy dog has put a downer on his mum’s pregnancy reveal photo, as he was less than impressed about being stripped of his only child status.

Sydney Alexandra, who is 13 weeks pregnant and comes from New York, thought it would be nice to take photos of her dog, Alaskan Klee Kai Elton, to share the pregnancy news with her friends.

But four-year-old Elton was absolutely not at all impressed about having to pose in front of the camera, realising he would no longer be the centre of attention.

Sydney took the photos of her pup next to a big brother sign, but she was shocked to realise… Read the full story

A little girl lives with a rare condition which causes her to have ‘Einstein hair’.

Five-year-old Evelyn Cubbedge, from Lawtey, Florida, USA, has Uncombable Hair Syndrome, a gene mutation that affects less than 100 people worldwide, causing disorderly strands that cannot be combed flat.

Her straw-like blonde locks naturally stand up and never grow long enough for her to need a haircut.

Suffering from the same condition that Albert Einstein was believed to have, strangers say that Evelyn looks like the 19th century scientist and often ask if she was electrocuted.

Of course, Evelyn’s mother, Nicole, 34, gets hurt and frustrated by the rude comments – though she says they… Read the full story

Summer is coming, and we’re already so excited to spend every warm evening in the garden having a BBQ – after spending hours in the local beer garden, of course.

However, if you’re more partial to a G&T than a beer, and you fancy drinking on the cheap by staying at home and drinking in the back yard, Lidl has got your back.

The super cheap supermarket is re-launching one of its most popular boozy options: the Citrus Garden gin.

Less is more when it comes to the height of fashion.

That doesn’t mean minimalism or neutral tones, to be clear. It means literally less clothing.

If you’re looking for the perfect accompaniment for your hardly-there-at-all jeans, behold the next hot trend: Wearing half a jacket.

The Unravel Project is now selling what’s effectively a blazer for half of your upper body, for the bargain price of £1,000.

If you buy two, you’ll get to keep both your arms warm. What a sweet deal.

The ‘deconstructed satin-trimmed silk and cotton-blend twill blazer’ is basically a fancy blazer sliced in the middle, with one side left to be… Read the full story
