I never really got the allure of marble statues.

Sure they’re beautiful, sure they last for millennia, sure they have the ability to capture the mood, mythology and moral codes of lost civilizations.

Last night I had what I’d describe as a minor meltdown.

I got paranoid. I cried. I worried. I told myself I was rubbish at my job, intensely irritating, and incapable of having a healthy relationship. I poked and prodded. I bit my nails – which I haven’t done in years, so that was annoying.

A few months ago, that would have been a fairly standard Saturday night.

Hemophilia is a bleeding disorder, in which the person diagnosed has difficulty in forming blood clots.

It is estimated that 400,000 people worldwide have been diagnosed, and around 6,000 of those are in the UK.

World Hemophilia Day was first celebrated in 1989, and the tradition has continued since.

The aim of the day is to increase awareness of the condition and bring attention of the wider public to this issue.

Primark seems to be on a mission to turn our Disney favourites into socially acceptable accessories.

First, they came out with a Beauty and the Beast purse which sold out so fast that it was being sold on eBay for five times the price.

Then they came out with a Beauty and the Beast Chip mug – which was also soon completely snapped up.

Now the low-budget retailer has moved onto a different film.
