A mum who breastfed her baby during a recent bout of cold, believes her breast milk changed dramatically to help fight off the infection.

Mallory Smothers, from Arkansas, shared a before and after picture of the breast milk on Facebook following what she calls her ‘cuckoo awesome’ realisation.

Last Thursday, she explains, she expressed milk as usual, before putting her baby girl to bed, and nursing regularly throughout the night.

Overnight, she noticed her daughter was ‘congested, irritable and sneezing A LOT.’ It looked like she was getting a cold.

The next morning, Mallory expressed milk… Read the full story

If you’re tired of scouring Tinder in search of your perfect match, we might have found the perfect game-changer for you.

Literally.

Someone has created a new matchmaking card game which relentlessly recalls the modern world of dating.

Matchr is a card game created by Mars Incrucio and is based on profiles he has encountered in the realm of online dating.

While he admits the game-play is incredibly fun, his actual aim for the game was about more than offering entertainment.

He told Metro.co.uk: ‘My passion for the project is to express a critique of millennial dating culture.

‘It’s full of shirtless bathroom selfies and duck faces with an overarching theme of how much of a drag love can be.’

While you may not be playing the game to match yourselves with others, it gives you great insight into what your fellow game-players may be looking for in a person, and how you yourself perceive the dating world.

Each card can be matched based on compatible sexual orientations, or common… Read the full story

We’re fairly used to noticing Photoshop mishaps in advertisements.

Whether it’s a thigh gap that has been edited in, a stomach that has been edited out or a Big Mac that looks nothing like the one in the picture, we’ve all seen it.

But it turns out Snickers have found a way to make some money off of these mishaps, by involving them in their latest Eat a Snickers’ ad.

Apparently, according to Snickers, photo re-touchers get confused when they’re hungry.

Can you spot all of their Photoshop fails?

A deaf man who regularly frequents his local Starbucks has shared a touching note he received from one of the baristas, who was teaching herself to sign for him.

Ibby Piracha is 23-years-old and from Leesburg, Virginia. Last week, he went in to get his regular coffee order at his local Starbucks.

One of the female baristas handed him a note, which he later shared on his Facebook page.

‘I’ve been learning ASL just so you can have the same experience as everyone else,’ the note read. The barista then went on to ask him, ‘what… Read the full story

The Whopper will now come to you (Picture: Burger King)

Burger King started trialling home delivery almost a year ago in just eight of its UK restaurants – which was great news if you lived in Romford, Truro, or Skegness; pretty soul destroying if not.

But, don’t worry, there’s no need to relocate to Romford just yet because the delivery service has now been extended to 34 more branches.

And. Breathe.

Sunday hangovers will never be the same again.

If you happen to live in the vicinity of one of the participating branches (see below), then all you need to do is head to the BurgerKing Delivers website to place your order.

People keep Photoshopping Gigi’s stomach moles away (Picture: Gigi Hadid/Instagram)

We’re not saying we spend a lot of time looking at Gigi Hadid’s stomach but the girl is fond of a crop top, so there’s really no avoiding it.

And, as anyone who has seen the model’s midriff in one of her many lingerie shoots, or just out and about with Kendall will know, Gigi has a scattering of moles across her stomach.

Which is why fans were a little surprised when she shared her recent front cover for Vogue China on Instagram.

There was something missing.

Two years ago, a 14-year-old girl was suspended from school for giving inappropriate responses during a sex education exercise.

Her sister, who was extremely proud of her answers, posted the the responses to Reddit to look back on one of her ‘proudest sister’ moments.

Her younger sister had been asked to complete a list of responses to an imaginary situation involving someone refusing to wear a condom for sex.

The task read:

Read through these partner objections to condom use and then the possible responses below.

Record the letter (or letters) of appropriate responses to these objections on the line beside each objection.

If you have time, list a few objections and/or responses of your own (on the back of this sheet).

Her sister answered bluntly, and although the language may not have been acceptable, we personally feel she sets a pretty good example to all future sex-ed students.

It’s 2016 but with what you’re about to read, you may feel as though you’re in the 1930s.

One dad has become eligible for a ‘Worst Dad of The Year’ award, after allegedly writing a letter to his 19-year-old daughter in which he tells her he will disown her if she carries on dating her boyfriend.

And the reason? Because her boyfriend is black. Yes. Seriously. This s*** is still happening.

Stephanie Hicks tweeted the letter with the caption: ‘Sad that it’s 2016 and skin color still matters’.

This man is so smitten with a certain canned precooked meat product that he’s changed his middle name to ‘I Love Spam’.

Meet Mark I Love Spam Benson, 41, from Halewood, Liverpool.

While, for most of us, looking at a can of Spam brings back memories of rainy school trips and curly Spam sandwiches, Mark just can’t get enough of it.

He has it on toast for breakfast every single day, and also regularly cooks recipes from the Spam website for family dinners – his wife Anne Moseley, 32, and daughters Evie, three, and Milly, four, also, thankfully, enjoy eating Spam.

Toast. It’s always there for us. (Picture: Getty)

Toast. It’s a staple of every happy diet. It’s there for us when we’re rushing out of the house in the morning and need a portable breakfast.

It’s there when we’re sick, and need something simple and comforting. It’s there when we want something to nibble with our cup of tea, and can’t be bothered going to the shops for a pack of biscuits.

Toast is pretty much brilliant in all forms (as long as it’s not burnt). And while the current toast trend is the ubiquitous smushed avocado topped with chilli flakes option, we’d like to remind everyone of all the other delights toast… Read the full story

Technology has helped us in so many ways. Relationships might not be one of them.

Sure, online dating unites people. FaceTime and Skype let long distance relationships flourish. Online dinner reservations are a glorious thing.

But we’ve also had to deal with Tinder, making us swiping, superficial beings who now have all the options in a 50km radius at our finger tips. And all the emotional complications of texting – tone, how often texts are sent, emotional cheating carried out through secret texting conversations.

And, of course, the phenomenon of phubbing.

Technology is wonderful. But it’s entirely changed how we interact… Read the full story

Break Bread Installation
We want to go to there.

In case a gingerbread house just isn’t sweet enough for you, here’s a fancy castle to dream about living in. Oh, and it’s made out of cake.

Break Bread is a new dessert-themed exhibition in California’s Think Tank Gallery, with a massive 7,000 square foot castle crafted out of sweet treats.

We’re talking six rooms of cake sculptures, a chandelier made out of boiled sweets, a cake maze, and an ice cream truck.

Sadly, you can’t head along and start sneaking slices. While the cake and sweets are real, underneath lies house paint and other definitely not-edible ingredients.

But hey, it looks incredible.

Notice anything? (Picture: Canva)

We all know that the fashion and beauty industry has a truly appalling lack of diversity when it comes to their choice of models.

Just look at the number of people of colour walking Fashion Week catwalks. Or have a flick through a magazine and look at the advert. How many non-white faces do you see?

But this new project really hammers the issue home.

Graphic design site Canva took photos of the most frequently featured spokeswomen for 10 major beauty brands, and averaged them into one face per brand.

The results are pretty depressing.
