A taxi driver left one of his passengers feeling pretty embarrassed after he texted her to let her know she’d left something in the back of his cab.

Because while most people accidentally leave behind a phone or a purse, this girl left something even more personal behind.

Her sex toy.

Of course, nobody stops to think they could’ve left a sex toy behind do they? Because a) You’d think you’d notice if you’d lost the sex toy that was in your pocket, and b) who carries a sex toy around with them anyway?

So when this girl received a text from her driver, she had absolutely no idea what he was talking… Read the full story

Unless your parents were incredibly laid-back, there’s no doubt you’ll remember the days of grounding.

But while for most of us, grounding simply meant we had to stay indoors while our friends were out having fun, for another girl it’s a whole other story.

Posting to Reddit a point system, in which a huge list of chores count for a certain amount of points, one user told of how her friend, Cassidy, had received the list of chores from her mother after she was grounded. How long was she grounded for? Well, that’s up to her.

With each chore equalling a number of points – some more than others – the girl had to gain 500 points to be un-grounded.

And with some of the most time consuming chores, such as washing all of the kitchen shares, only amounting to 25 points, it seems this girl’s really going to be in it for the long-haul.

We’re actually pretty… Read the full story

Beautiful, pristine beaches, gorgeous blue seas and dazzling coral reefs – Egypt’s Red Sea has everything a sunseeker could possibly want.

And, before you ask, The Foreign Office says it’s safe to visit, as long as you stick to the areas they suggest and follow their advice.

It says: ‘Over 900,000 British nationals visit Egypt every year. Most visits are trouble-free.’

It adds that ‘enhanced security measures are in place to protect the Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada resort areas.’

I flew into Hurghada and visited Marsa Alam and Makadi Bay.

Here’s seven reasons why you should pay them a visit.

Steve Greig is possibly one of the most kind-hearted men alive.

An animal-lover with a big property, Steve searches for senior animals who are in need of a forever home.

Older animals often miss out on the chance to find their forever home, as younger pups can often be easier to look after and many families prefer to adopt young dogs.

But Steve wants to make sure they never miss out again. Every animal deserves a chance at happiness, he says – and he’s making it happen.

Instagram Photo

He started his lengthy journey of adoptions when he went to a local shelter and found the dog he believed had the least chance of being adopted.

Following that first time, he began welcoming other elderly dogs and dogs in need into his home, offering them a new life.

He currently has 10 dogs – most of which are elderly.

And his love for animals… Read the full story

Another first world problem solved? (Picture: Christine Kzik/Facebook)

A shopper has spotted pre-cut avocados on sale in a Canadian grocery store and many people believe this might be the end of civilisation as we know it.

If we can’t even be bothered to cut our own avocados and remove the stone, who even are we? What have we become?

Christine Kizik shared the picture of the avocado halves, which had been spotted by her friend for sale at his local Sobeys – Sobeys is the second largest food retailer in Canada – in Thornhill, Ontario.

She expressed her ‘surprise and disappointment’, writing: ‘Avocados have their own perfect, compostable, wrapping. Adding packaging to an avocado is strange to say the… Read the full story

When 21-year-old Private Hannah Foraker went off to basic training in Oklahoma in September, nobody was more sad to see her go than her 13-year-old golden retriever, Buddy.

Hannah, who is incredibly close with her pup, told BuzzFeed News: ‘She’s very old and has arthritis and is mostly deaf, but I still remember getting her as a puppy.’

So, it was incredibly hard for Hannah to leave her for a while.

She said: ‘I’ve never been away from home before.

‘I’ve lived a very sheltered life. To have to leave to go to another state alone in a stressful environment like basic training was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.’

Hannah finally finished her training and made her way back to Buddy.

But while she was expecting an overjoyed greeting – she wasn’t quite expecting to see Buddy so emotional.

You’ll need a tissue or two for this video.

So, Clara Foster, a 17-year-old from Houston made a bet with her dad – if she managed to get 100,000 retweets, he’d get her a puppy.

Clara has been desperate to get a new dog after her beloved 13-year-old springer spaniel Fuchsia recently had to be put down.

Whatever your age, the chances are you’re pretty much stumped by life. Everyone else seems to find it easier than you and you’re just struggling to figure out what you’re supposed to be doing.

It’s caused many a fall-out in the changing rooms of Coast. It’s one of the trickiest feats for any bride to pull off – ensuring all her friends, be they petite or six-footers, boyish or busty, apples or pears, are all happy wearing the same dress.

So why do we put ourselves through it? Was it a scheme dreamt up by Coast & co. to shift lilac satin dresses in bulk? Where does this wedding tradition come from?

Well, according to Mental Floss, it’s the Romans’ fault. The tradition began in Ancient Rome and, initially, it wasn’t just the bridesmaids who all dressed the same – the bride… Read the full story

Getting a haircut is pretty much always an awkward experience.

There’s the stilted chit-chat about holidays. The nodding when you can’t actually make out said chit-chat over the sound of the dryer. The bit where they show you the back of your head, and you don’t really know quite what to say.

It’s awful.

And the worst part of it all? There’s so much bloody social etiquette involved, but no handy guide passed out on entrance. We have so many questions. There’s so much space for miscommunication.

So to make our future haircuts that tiny bit less uncomfortable, we gave… Read the full story

Mars releases spreadable Twix
Oh wow. Oh wow. (Picture: Mars/metro.co.uk)

Mars just took toast toppers to a whole new level. Seriously. Throw away your Nutella.

(Or just put it in the back of your cupboard, because delicious chocolate-y spreads can coexist in peace)

Yep, it’s real. Mars has taken the classic Twix and turned it into a spread – for toast, biscuits, or to be eaten straight with a spoon.

Twix spread is exactly how we’d always dreamed: smooth chocolate spread with hints of caramel and pieces of crunchy biscuit. It sounds glorious, and we’d quite like to put it on everything we eat.

Panic attacks. Tens of thousands of us suffer with them.

And we all have a thousand different symptoms.

Sometimes we feel like we’re having a heart attack, or a stroke, or that it’s all over for us.

We feel totally out of control.

But for a minute, can you imagine what it must be like to witness a panic attack?

Especially if you have no idea what’s happening or how to help?

Having spent years dealing with them, explaining them to people that I know just want to do the right thing, and trying to help people to understand them, I thought it might be time to jot some things down.

Salads without the socialising. (Picture: Instagram/tosseduk)

Your sad salad eaten alone at your desk just got sadder.

High street food chain Tossed has just unveiled two fancy news shops in London. These shops are special for two reasons.

One, they no longer accept cash payments, so you can only pay by credit or debit card or Apple Pay.

Second, you can only place your order through self-service kiosks – totally eliminating the need to talk to ANYONE on your lunch break.

The new kiosks have entirely replaced regular tills. Customers can select their salads on a touch-screen menu or through the Tossed app, then collect their salad from a collection point.

13 things people say to sex bloggers
