Forget Australia or Hawaii – if you want to catch some waves, Wales is the place for you.
If that sounds like a strange suggestion, then you obviously haven’t yet heard about the newly opened Surf Snowdonia Wavegarden, which is being billed as ‘a revolutionary world-first inland surf lagoon.’
According to the BBC, the project, which opens today, promises ‘the longest man-made surf wave in the world.’
And unlike with natural surfing, at Surf Snowdonia your killer waves are guaranteed, thanks to the latest artificial wave technology by Wavegarden.
