KFC, in their wisdom, have decided that the solution to plummeting sales in China are Pepto-Bismol pink buns. Right.
The pink buns come as part of KFC China’s new Rose cheese chicken leg roasted burger – that’s roasted chicken, cheese, mayonnaise, tomato, and lettuce sandwiched between two delicate pink baps. Yum?
It was launched alongside the Black diamond bacon spicy chicken leg burger, which, naturally, has a black bun.
And while the campaign images of the new soft pink burger surrounded by fluttering rose petals look strangely appealing at first sight, in reality it looks a little like your burger has a venereal disease.
People are a little freaked out.
