A city in Romania has offered a major incentive for anyone who prefers reading a good book on public transport over scrolling through Instagram.
For a week in June, the city of Cluj-Napoca allowed passengers to ride the bus for free, as long as they read a book onboard.
The initiative was proposed by book-lover Victor Miron, who explains that he wanted to encourage more people to read while they travelled around the city.

Victor pitched his idea to the mayor, who loved it.
He, in turn, shared the proposal on his Facebook, and it received a great response.
So, after a year of work, they made it happen.
Only for a week, mind, but it was still pretty magical.
