According to a new YouGov poll, 68 per cent of us fear what will happen in the next chapter – probably because we’re not all that convinced that we’ll be allowed through the pearly gates of heaven.
When questioned where they’d end up if heaven and hell existed, 10 per cent of the 1,770 surveyed reckoned they were doomed to an eternity of fire and brimstone.
Whether it’s hungover regrets or some seriously shady antics, that means one in ten of you fear damnation and, if you’re male, that number goes up to one in seven.
