Today is Bisexual Visibility Day – an international awareness day which has been running since 1999 celebrating bisexuality and acting as a way to combat bisexual invisibility and prejudice.
Social media is ablaze with the hashtag #BiVisabilityDay and the White House even held its first bisexual community issues roundtable on the celebratory day recently.

1. Bisexual people make up more than 50% of the LGBT community
Which means the chances are everyone knows, or knows of, someone who is attracted to both genders. Celebrating Bisexuality Day is celebrating friends and friends of friends, and what’s not to love about that?
