Living with an invisible illness can be hard for a number of reasons. Not just physically, but mentally.

It can be challenging in a number of ways and it’s the hardest thing to explain to others who don’t quite understand.

It can also be a little nerve-racking to talk about it, because you’re always awaiting some sort of fake sympathy from people who are secretly disregarding what you’re telling them, because they either think you’re overreacting or looking for attention.

A lot of people are quick to judge because if they can’t see it, it’s not there. But it is there, and it’s often so prominent you’re left exasperated, questioning just how others can’t see.
