The UK is apparently staring down the barrel of a pumpkin shortage this Halloween.

A new report has warned that pumpkins could be in short supply ahead of October 31, after heavy rains in August obliterated the crop.
Jon Barfoot, commercial director of fruit and vegetable supplier Barfoots, which expects to sell around one million pumpkins this year, told The Grocer that yields would be around 50 per cent down overall.
