Imagine forest pathways lit up with a thousand flickering lights, twinkling flower beds, and millions of glowing nightlights guiding your way home.
Welcome to the world’s first firefly park, which opened this summer in China’s East Lake Peony Garden in Wuhan city.
The park is home to around 10,000 fireflies and was opened this May to help preserve and promote breeding of the insects, whose numbers have dwindled due to pollution and loss of habitat.
