See rosemary copy RPYGRAMMAR: A deaf nine-year-old determined to rid the world of bad grammar stunned her classmates when she brought in 15 examples of apostrophe misuse. Ammarah Mahmood had been learning about apostrophe placements in her Year 5 class and her teacher, Sarah Rothera, gave the children a project to find incorrect uses. However, when Ammarah, who attends Swain House Primary School in Bradford, West Yorks., came back to class with bad examples including 'Pie's, Pasty's,vSandwich's and Cakes' and 'No Drink's Allowed In Shop' Sarah and her class were shocked.
