Last week, Nashville actress Clare Bowen debuted her new short hairdo on Facebook. But, this wasn’t a fashion choice.
Clare, who plays singer Scarlett O’Connor on the show, explained that she was inspired to cut off her waist-long locks by a little girl who thought she couldn’t be a princess with long hair.
‘I wanted her, and others like her to know that’s not what makes a princess, or a warrior, or a superhero. It’s not what makes you beautiful either. It’s your insides that count…’ Clare wrote.
