Maggcom, an Indian lifestyle website, has launched a campaign to end the discrimination of men, or as they call it ‘mancrimination’.
They posted their call-to-arms online yesterday, using the hashtag #DontMancriminate.
The article, written by Jahanvi Maheshwari, also coined the term ‘manism’ to ‘remind us of the forgotten gender, who, regardless of the situation, are expected to be such gentlemen’.
It was accompanied by posters of famous men with gags over their mouths, which listed all the disadvantages they face. ‘It’s a man’s world. Bullsh*t,’ one says. ‘I don’t get free drinks. I don’t get free entry. I don’t get sympathy,’ it goes on.
