Summer in the States means silly food season is almost upon us.
For those not familiar with the state fair concept, it’s basically an opportunity to live out your dirtiest food dreams. Imagine all your favourite foods, wrapped in bacon, deep fried and then served to you on a stick.
The fairs usually take place towards the end of summer/early autumn and, to whet everyone’s appetites, they like to release lists of their upcoming foodie treats well in advance.
Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana and New York all released their menus last week and, let’s just say, we’re booking our tickets, and girding our loins, already.
