Despite indulging in three days of boozing, burgers, and letting our hair down, it turns out festivals are actually quite good for you.
If we’re talking exercise, that is.
Tech company Withings have calculated how many calories we burn by dancing, wandering around fields and dashing from stage to stage.
We actually burn off over a staggering 9,000 calories and walk over 15 miles across a three-day music event. Apparently the average festival goer will spend up to eight hours dancing per day, burning an average of 400-700 calories during each act. Phew.
