So classy (Picture: YourSassyGrandma / etsy)

Nothing says Merry Christmas quite like a sparkly Rudolph nose. Covering your nipple.

It’s the ultimate Christmas fashion accessory for those who aren’t a fan of the more trad Xmas jumper.

Sure, your co-workers might point and laugh if worn in the office on Christmas Jumper Day.

But if the famous song is anything to go by, Santa will soon be asking you to guide his sleigh (definitely not a euphemism).

You might even go down in office history.

Quiz: Will you have a happy marriage? (Credit: Getty/Metro)

With the latest statistics saying that 42 per cent of marriages end in divorce, the secret to marital bliss would seem increasingly elusive.

That probably explains the amount of advice out there about marriage. Celebrities constantly weigh in, and science has even tried to nail it down.

Most recently, a study found that couples will be happier if there’s a height difference.

Well, wives with taller husbands anyway, which is what researchers looked into. We don’t know if height difference applies to different types of couples like same-sex marriages.

We’ve put together a quiz using different scientific studies into… Read the full story

When you’re a single dad with two daughters, it’s your duty to ensure they’re as badass as possible (plus all the other general parenting duties, obviously).

Fulfilling his duty to the highest degree is Redditor maxpowers989. We don’t know much about this mysterious man, other than that he is a single parent, he has two daughters, and together they’ve created the greatest family photo we’ve ever seen.

He shared it on Reddit with the caption: ‘I’m embracing single parenthood by getting the family photos I always wanted.’

Because whoever they are, they’re going to appreciate a book (if not, maybe stop being friends. No one who’s ruled out ALL BOOKS, EVER is worth your time. Or Christmas present budget).

In an effort to make Christmas shopping a little bit easier, Penguin has brought back their Penguin Hotline – a magical service that recommends books for whoever you’re shopping for.

It’s not an actual hotline, sadly, and there are no real penguins involved. Sad times.

Yesterday, one man took to Facebook to speak of his somewhat embarrassing dilemma whilst in a shop.

Telling Facebook he was shopping for somewhat ‘manly’ things: eyebrow tweezers, toenail clippers and mustache molding wax (oh, so manly) alongside some beard trimmers, beef jerky and sardines (that’s more like it, though we’re not so sure about the sardines), he spoke of a sight he was completely knocked head over heels for.

A beautiful woman, standing opposite him as he lined up to buy his goods.

‘Wow, some guy is lucky to be with her!’ he wrote, before realising that the gorgeous woman that stood before him was actually his wife.

Free food is the best food (Picture: 777)

A pop-up casino is raising the steaks (sorry) by swapping money for food.

They’re touting it as the world’s first food casino, where the chips are actual chips, as in you gamble with fries.

It’s risky business because we’re more worried about losing precious food than we are money.

But not to worry, entrance into the casino is free and includes a burger, a drink and your first box of chips.

Tired of the ‘stick some glitter on your face/armpits/hair’ trend? Why not stick some dead fish on your face?

Or, you know, don’t. Because it’s awful.

Russian makeup artist Elya Bulochka is trying to make sticking dead fish all over your skin the next big thing. It hasn’t gone down well.

Elya received loads of angry comments when she shared a (now deleted) photo of herself holding a plastic bag of fish, with the caption: ‘Guess what I’m going to be wearing today?’

People weren’t pleased, mostly because anything that has to be killed for fashion is NOT A GOOD IDEA.

Down to the exact minute (Photo: Getty)

Yes, we have a vague idea of how much we’re overeating at Christmas, but it’s the point in the year when as a nation we decide that we just don’t care.

And apparently there’s an exact time when we throw any notions of healthy eating out the window. Down to the minute.

A new study by Tilda Basmati Rice revealed that it is 9.58am on Friday 4 December when we start tucking into those mince pies with abandon.

Five million of us in fact admitted to caring less about our health and eating well once the festive season… Read the full story

You’ve found yourself partnered up with the very embodiment of perfection, so why on earth wouldn’t you marry them?

You may be far from ready.

Marriage used to happen when you’d hit certain financial and social milestones: when you had a home to your name, a set of qualifications on the mantelpiece and a few cows and a parcel of land in your possession.

But when, under the influence of Romantic ideology, this grew to seem altogether too mercenary and calculating, the focus shifted to emotions.

It came to be thought important to feel the right way. That was the true sign of a good union.

And the right feelings included the sense that the other… Read the full story

‘I thought we would never get those holiday pictures with him because it’s something he can’t handle – the noise, and the pressure. He gets anxious if you ask him to smile, it’s all too much for him,’ she told People.

Oh, well this is heartwarming.

Police officer Josh McConnell was working down at a pier on Tuesday when a little girl walked up to him with her mum by her side.

‘She was about 3 [or] 4 holding a teddy bear,’ Josh wrote on his Facebook. ‘I heard her mother tell the little girl to tell me.’

‘I turned and asked what I could do for her and she hands me her bear.

‘I tried to give it back but she refused. She looked up at me and said it was to keep me safe.’

Bit emotional.

Who’s that sexy chick? (Picture: Mercury)

Gloria the swan likes what she sees.

The swan has become a bit of a regular at the Brownlow B&B in Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire.

She’s round there so often she’s even featured on the B&B’s website.

And when manager Debby Smith left a mirror propped up against her garage recently, the swan couldn’t stop checking herself out.

Debby, 49, videoed Gloria, who’s thought to be around three-years-old, gazing at her reflection for a full 10 minutes.
