We know that creating great art isn’t really about the tools – it’s how you use them.

But that knowledge hasn’t stopped us from lusting over these colouring pencils for the last thirty minutes.

Karl Lagerfeld has just unveiled the KARLBOX, a limited edition giant box of colouring pencils, designed in partnership with Faber Castell.

The box has all kinds of snazzy features, opening up to reveal slide-out drawers of perfectly arranged colouring pencils in a glorious rainbow of colours.

It’s very aesthetically pleasing. We want it desperately.

September is the month that tomatoes are in season in the UK. Whether you grow your own, get an organic box, or buy from the shops, this is the best season to use up my favourite vegetable.

Even a simple tomato sandwich speckled with good sea salt or tomatoes on toast are ambrosial if you use ripe sweet tomatoes at the right time of year.

Well, this is concerning.

Gynaecological cancer charity The Eve Appeal recently carried out a study as part of Gynaecological Awareness Month. As part of that study, they asked British women to label the different parts of the reproductive system on a diagram.

The results? Nearly half (44%) of women couldn’t correctly point to the vagina, while 60% couldn’t label the vulva. Whoa.

Less than a third of the women surveyed were able to correctly label all six labelled parts of a woman’s reproductive system.

We’re all still obsessed with sheet masks, even after the revelation that loads of our favourites could be covered in gross stuff. We just love putting soothing things on our faces. It’s great.

Happy World Beard Day!

Here’s proof that there are lovely people in the world.

George is a 10-year-old ginger cat originally from Sydney, Australia, where he lived with his owner, Fiona.

Last March, Fiona had to return to Ireland due to poor health. Thinking it would be a short trip, she decided to leave George with her neighbour, hoping to quickly return to Australia to see her cat again.

We should all hope to be lucky enough to have a friend like Maya.

Maya the two-year-old Japanese Akita Inu has spent the last six days patiently waiting outside the Hospital Virgen de la Salud in Elda, Spain, for her 22-year-old owner to return.

Maya’s owner, Sandra Iniesta, was taken into the hospital for emergency surgery due to appendicitis on the 27th of September.

Since then, Maya has dutifully sat outside the hospital, despite multiple attempts from Sandra’s dad, Andres, to take her home.

Other than a few desperate moments during those rough journeys home on the N29, we’ve never really been struck by a desire to spend the night sleeping on a bus. Until now.

A couple has taken a vintage London bus from the 1960s, added in some snazzy features, and transformed it into a fancy hotel, complete with a hot tub.

Susan Mosier and her husband Philip bought the bus for £5,000, and spent £100,000 turning it into a rent-able hotel room.
