Thanksgiving is on November 24th – which means Twitter user Nick Denbow has just 16 days to wait out until he’s allowed back in his living room.

That’s right, he’s been banned from the living room of his home until this specific day – as his mother has spent much time cleaning the room and making sure it’s perfect for the day.

Hilariously, Nick’s mother has gone as far as to put tape across the entrance to the room, with a note that reads: ‘This room has been cleaned for the holidays and is officially CLOSED until Thanksgiving.’

Some teachers really care about their students’ futures.

This Instagram shows how your body changes when you breastfeed

So much so, that they go the extra mile to make sure all work is handed in on time to a good standard.

One teacher proving this theory is the sister of Reddit user _Piratical_, a middle school teacher who dresses up in a chicken suit if all of her students hand in their homework on time.

Posting a picture of her in her suit, Piratical said his sister has been able to wear it twice.

RUSSIAN couples - who use image manipulation software such as Photoshop to enhance their wedding photos - have been revealed in hilarious Internet gallery.
(Picture: TNI PRESS LTD)

In the UK, wedding photography tends to be a fairly formal affair.

Everyone dresses up in their finest wedding outfits. They pose with a half-smile in front of some flowers, pretending they’re not hammered from the free bar and that their shoes aren’t killing their feet.

The end result: a photo that captures the mood of the occasion and suggests the married couple are grownup, prim and proper, and very much in love.

In Russia they do things a little differently.

It’s not all fun and gaming (Picture: Getty)

When you’re a nerd at some point you’ll have to grow up and get a girlfriend.

But, to be honest, they never fill the void that Crash Bandicoot did.

Hey, they have their advantages but below are some of the problems I personally have to deal with having a girlfriend who is not nerdy in the slightest.

1. They don’t understand that you can’t stop playing on a loss

I just have to play one more, I will definitely win this one…

Three hours later you crawl into bed.

2. She doesn’t get why you get angry at games

Not everyone has a dad they’re able to take to dad and daughter activities.

That doesn’t mean they should miss out on the fun.

When 17-year-old Sydney Lawrence’s drill team, the Crosby Cougar Stars, threw their annual father/daughter dance, her aunt, Kristen Roulet, stepped up to make sure she wouldn’t miss out.

Kristen immediately volunteered to stand-in, and even wore a fake moustache for the occasion.

(Picture: @OhChelseaRaeXO / Twitter)

Need a lesson in getting what you want?

Then you could definitely learn a thing or two from this little girl, who uses one simple technique to ensure she gets what she wants: crying.

Chelsea Rae’s daughter was crying to be held when she was busy making dinner.

And no matter how many times Chelsea asked her daughter what was wrong and whether she was okay, her daughter refused to calm down.

That was, until she was offered some food. Suddenly, she was totally fine with a big smile on her face.

It’s officially Christmas time, people.

Because today, November 8, is when Greggs starts selling their Festive Bake.

The Festive Bake is the true sign that Christmas is here. Not the first snow, not the first Christmas tree to go up, and definitely not the Christmas lights going up on Oxford Street.

Festive Bake all the way.

Alongside their Festive Bake, Greggs has also started stocking a full range of other festive delights, as part of their Christmas menu.

It all looks delicious and full of Christmas joy. Here’s what’s on offer.

A 22-year-old student was disgusted to find her fellow university students had branded her a ‘bike’ during a conversation she’d been accidentally added to on Facebook.

Eleanor Henry found herself quickly removed from the conversation after being accidentally added by one of the men – but they had not realised she could see the messages sent before she was added.

Some of the messages included suggestions that Eleanor be brought on a holiday to Thailand as the men ‘needed a bike’. They also suggested that one of the men ask her to show them… Read the full story

Last year, we brought you news of a wine merchant who had created a wonderful Christmas tree out of wine bottles.

This 12-year-old boy has made more than 800 teddy bears for sick children in hospital

Fast forward 12 months, and we can now confirm that wine bottle Christmas trees are now a thing around the globe.

Silver Oak Cellars might have kicked off the trend, but apparently loads of people have got in on the act and are proving that like everything else wine improves, it now improves trees.

There’s a warmth to John Lewis.

It’s got none of the showiness of Harrods nor the glamour of Selfridges. If other departments stores are champagne, John Lewis is English Breakfast tea.

Why dyeing my hair grey was the best beauty decision I ever made
The best way to hide a few grey hairs? Dye all your hair grey, obviously. (Picture: Siam Goorwich)

I don’t care what anyone says, finding your first grey hair is traumatic.

Not natural disaster, being chased by zombies, traumatic, but traumatic nonetheless.

Because there are very few things – with the exception of birthdays which end in 0s or 5s, or people you used to babysit having children of their own – which declare more loudly or clearly the fact that you’re getting old.

I found my first grey hair about three years ago. I was staring at my face in the bathroom… Read the full story

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate mums.

They raise us. They put up with all our teenage nonsense, our mood swings, and our messy rooms. They take the one piece of toast that’s burnt and let you have the nice, perfectly toasted ones.

And – hopefully – they support us, no matter what we do.

But if we were to rank all mums in terms of supportiveness, it’d be tough to beat Delaney Keefe’s mum, Tamara.

Delaney is a 17-year-old student living in Virginia. Tamara, her mum, lives in California.
