Hey Vogue India, I see that you’ve released your 10th anniversary edition.

Oh, and you decided not only to exclude an Indian female from the front cover, but to feature Kendall Jenner instead.

Seriously, why do you even exist in the Indian market?

Hey Vogue India: You made the wrong choice putting Kendall Jenner on your cover

I have nothing against Vogue, but you will not see it on my makeshift Ikea coffee table, nor will you see me rushing home with the latest glossy edition shoved hastily in a Tesco carrier bag, for which I have begrudgingly paid 5p.

But of course I understand why it is… Read the full story

I have something terrible to admit.

For the past two years, I have been going through the motions of dating because I liked the attention.

metro illustrationsWhy turning friends into partners is the best formula for a happy relationship

I was the queen of ghosting and terrible excuses, but I would still unintentionally mislead people into thinking it could be something long-term because it gave me a little ego-trip to know I was in control.

Before you judge me for being a terrible, selfish cow (which to be honest, would be entirely fair), it was something I didn’t even realise I was doing it… Read the full story

Primark have been impressing us left, right and centre so far this year.

First, they launched the Chip purses which sold out so quickly, they were being re-sold on eBay for more than four-times the price.

Then came the launch of the rest of the Aristocat slippers that sent Disney fans wild.

Now, they’re stepping away from Disney to launch an item even more impressive – a near-on exact duplicate of Prada mules, which retail at  £470.

But you know how much Primark’s ridiculously similar versions are going for?… Read the full story

The majority of us are stressed-out messes.

We all know we should be taking steps to curb our stress and look after our mental states a bit, but we tell ourselves we’re too busy, that mindfulness is too wanky, or we simply aren’t capable of relaxing.

Hey Vogue India: You made the wrong choice putting Kendall Jenner on your cover

That’s an issue.

Let’s take Mental Health Awareness Week (that’s 8 May to 15 May, if you weren’t aware) as a chance to get on track and sort our heads out.

For those of us struggling, that may mean asking for professional help. But… Read the full story

Remember last year when a mysterious clear dessert resembling something from deep under the ocean appeared on your Instagram feed and all you could think about was making it wobble?

You know, the one that looked like a huge rain drop, was completely see through and served on a leaf tray?

Love marmalade and gin? Yes, you guessed it, there is now a marmalade gin

Well, after taking Japan and New York by storm, the raindrop cake is finally coming to London.

The unusual dessert, which is coming to the capital for the first time, will be available at Yamagoya from May 15.

They’re made from agar powder, a gelatin substitute derived from seaweed, which means they’re vegan-friendly as well.

When 18-year-old Brenda Sierra had finally finished planning her prom dress, she realised that her 7-year-old dachshund, Sasha, had nothing to wear for her prom photos.

This teenager made her dachshund a matching prom outfit and they both looked fierce

This was unacceptable – especially as Brenda normally takes Sasha anywhere dogs are allowed – and so of course, she had to be there for the prom photos outside of her home.

Desperately wanting to include Sasha in her photos, Brenda took some extra fabric from her hemmed dress and a hot-glue gun, and began piecing together a matching outfit for Sasha.

My boyfriend is a lot of things to me.

He’s my companion, my therapist, my support system and my favourite person to spend a Saturday night with. He entertains me, and advises me, and is, not to put to fine a point on it, bloody great in bed.

He shares my passion for food made predominantly from butter and garlic, and knows when I need love and sympathy (as opposed to when I need to be told to stop being a spoiled brat).

Let’s be honest.

We all know we should go to STI clinics when we start shagging someone new or after a one night stand – but often, we don’t.

16 matching friendship tattoo ideas for you and your best friend

Normal, intelligent, good people walk around for months – nay – years not knowing whether they’ve got the clap or are riddled with gonorrhoea.

It’s just so easy to forget to do it.

Sure, you mean to get checked at the start. You might even lie and tell your new partner that you’ve been checked (V bad). But then the weeks slip by and there you are, banging away without a worry in the world.

I’ve had ‘find a GUM clinic’ on my phone notes for about 18 months. I did actually get as far as getting a test done in Dean Street not that long ago but something went wrong with my swab and so my… Read the full story

Rows of taco shells stuffed with colorful confetti - taco party concept

It’s taco time! (Picture: Getty)When it comes to things wrapped in other things, London is a place of fast-moving trends.

We’ve had ‘dirty’ burgers (2014), burritos (2015) and Taiwanese steamed bao (2016) – but 2017 is the year of the taco.

Today is Cinco de Mayo!

Yes, for those who failed in Spanish at school (or didn’t take it) that’s May 5th.

Cinco de Mayo is a day of celebration with dances, re-enactments, Mexican food and appreciation of Mexican culture – not only in Mexico but also in the United States.

However, there is some confusion around the date with many wrongly assuming that Cinco de Mayo is Mexico’s Independence Day.

It’s not, Mexico’s Independence Day is actually on September 16, and it is actually linked to a battle with the French.

Here’s everything you need to know.

A lot about the institution of marriage is pretty patriarchal.

Essentially, it’s basically about swapping which man has ownership of the bride.

Traditionally speaking at least, your dad ‘gives you away’ to another man and then to drive the point home you swap his name for your new husband’s. Just so everyone knows who you belong to.

Labiaplasty is on the rise. Boys and men continue to worry that their penis is too small. Every other week there seems to be a new treatment promising to make your penis longer and harder or your vagina tighter, smoother, and more sparkly.

These treatments prey on our insecurities – our deep, dark worry that there’s something wrong with our genitals. That they’re not ‘normal’.

It’s no wonder we think that, though, when we don’t get to see a range of all the different ways vaginas and penises can look.

If you’re interested in same-sex relationships or, well, sex, you’ll likely get to see a few more genitals that look a bit like yours.
