We’ve all been there before: You’re in the supermarket, in a rush, looking for a whole bunch of items.

We all need this unsolicited dick pic costume for the next fancy dress party

Wanting to get your shopping done as quickly as possible, you pick up the thing you were searching for and head to the checkout.

When you finally get home, you realise that the whipped cream you needed for your eton mess is actually sour cream. It’s a disaster.

However, you get over it and move on – or if you’re that invested you head back to the shop to buy what… Read the full story

I’m yet to meet anyone who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned McFlurry (providing they’re not vegan, of course).

People need more than just suicide hotlines when a celebrity takes their own life

Whether they come covered in oreo pieces, chocolate sauce, crunchie bits or even bits of creme egg – we’re all for it.

What we’re not all for, however, is a dirty McFlurry machine – especially if that’s where our ice cream is coming from.

But according to US McDonald’s employee Nick, that might just be exactly what’s happening.

Nick recently took to Twitter to expose his branch for the disgusting state the McFlurry… Read the full story

Even if a smacking ban would make criminals of parents, that’s okay

No-one’s saying parenting is easy (Picture: Getty)

A group of parents who want to reserve the right to smack their children have said that a blanket ban on smacking children would make criminals of parents.

The strangest thing about the argument, other than the fact that there are groups of people who come together to campaign for the right to hit children, is that the argument seems to totally disregard the fact that any adult who hits another adult runs a wrong risk of becoming a criminal.

There is no doubt in my mind that smacking your children is morally wrong, and really f****ng weird.

I don’t want my (currently hypothetical) children to be afraid of me. I… Read the full story

A brave teenager who missed her high school prom after facing several years of bullying finally got to wear her unused prom dress, thanks to her friends, family and hundreds of strangers.

Why do so many women still hate getting oral sex?

16-year-old Shannon Purcifer decided not to go to her prom last month having dealt with constant teasing about her battle with ulcerative colitis, a form of inflammatory bowel disease.

Devastated at the fact her daughter was missing out on her prom, her mother, Claire Carstens, took to Facebook to share a photo of Shannon in her stunning £470 dress,… Read the full story

Can you take paracetamol when pregnant? (Picture: Getty)

It’s seen as a fairly gentle drug, but should pregnant women avoid taking paracetamol?

Many women avoid drugs of any kind during pregnancy, however some seek out treatments from over-the-counter painkillers to combat morning sickness.

Can I take paracetamol when pregnant?

The NHS says mums-to-be can take paracetamol as long as they use the ‘lowest effective dose for the shortest time possible’.

What is Charlie Gard’s condition, mitochondrial DNA depletion syndrome (or MDDS)?

However, they also contend that ‘ideally, you should avoid taking medicines when you’re pregnant, especially during the first three months’.

Everyone knows that if you get really, really drunk, you won’t remember what you did the night before.

So on that basis, the suggestion that alcohol might make your memory better would sound counter intuitive.

Why do so many women still hate getting oral sex?

The study, which was carried out by the University of Exeter found that people who drink alcohol after studying information more likely to be able to recall what they’ve learnt.

The project involved getting 88 people to do a word-learning task. The group of 88 was split in two, with one group… Read the full story

But while some of the fetishes here are entirely innocuous, some of them are a little more dangerous – and one of them is actually frightening.

When you’re looking for love, it’s important to work on finding someone you have stuff in common with – things you’re both interested in and can chat about at length.

Skinny Sprinkles Credit: Skinny Sprinkles

Every few months, a new product or trend pops up promising to help us all lose weight and get healthy with minimal effort.

For a long time, dieting culture was in. Everyone in the 90s was on a diet – Atkins, GI, Cabbage, whatever – and would bond with anyone else going through the same struggles of banned fries or watery soup.

Then it was cleanses. Then juice fasts.

These days, clean eating’s the thing, promoting ‘healthy lifestyles’ and steering away from the D word (that’s diet. I’m not making weird sexual references).

The first rule of talking about autism: the way it affects you will be completely different to the way it affects everyone else.

Autistic Spectrum Disorder is a minefield, and we’re still in the early stages of figuring out how it works. Not easy to do when individual experiences are so incredibly varied.

But while autism affects different people in different ways, there are recurring themes and misconceptions – and conversations that you have more than once.

Here are some of mine.

We all have a quality we value above all else in our romantic partners.

Whether it’s a sense of humour, kindness or intelligence, there’s always something that particularly attracts us to someone (and keeps us attracted).
