Throw your paws in the air (Picture: Lort Smith/Facebook)

This photo of Coso the dog throwing her paws up in the air has been liked 25,000 times after it was shared on Facebook a few days ago.

It was taken a few moments after the seven-year-old Australian Kelpie x Stafforshire Bull Terrier met her new family.

Coso had been left at a dog pound in Melbourne, Australia, because her family decided they couldn’t look after her anymore, The Dodo reports.

After kicking her heels there for a while, staff approached the Lort Smith Animal Hospital and asked them to take her – they thought she would stand a much better chance of finding a… Read the full story

If you’ve ever noticed a case of the sniffles after getting a fresh new tattoo, started panicking that you’ve somehow picked something up from the needle gun you saw coming straight from a packet, and launched into a desperate googling session, you need to read this.

First off, don’t stress. You’re (probably) not dying from a tattoo.

And no, you’re not imagining things. You are actually more likely to catch a cold after getting a tattoo.

Disney World: it’s the happiest place on earth, apart from those big Krispy Kreme branches with doughnuts on conveyor belts.

She has no time for your Mickey Mouse ears and your endless renditions of It’s A Small World After All. She is not amused by Gaston really sticking to character. She doesn’t want your overpriced pretzels.

And most of all, she is not pleased with her husband, who refused to join her on Splash Mountain. What a monster.

An animal rescue centre has written a heartbreaking open letter to the owners of a dog who died after they found her abandoned as a stray.

The dog, who they named Hannah after rescuing her, was so weak she could not stand.

Her nails were the most overgrown the pound had seen and her waist was so thin a human hand could fit around it.

The rescue team made her a bed out of an old duvet and it is here that she can be seen snuggled up in her final hours on photos Hope Rescue shared on their Facebook page.

Despite medical care, Hannah died. Hope Rescue said they prayed the vet could save her life so that they could find her the loving foster home she deserves.

But sadly, they were too late.

Hope Rescue wrote to the anonymous owners: ‘We don’t know what her real name is. But you do. We called her Hannah so she had a name rather than the ID number… Read the full story

With it being 2016, it takes quite a lot to shock us when it comes to body modifications.

We’re used to getting excited over new piercings, tattoos and even the occasional stretched ear but some people are really taking their body mods to the extreme.

And we must just inform you that the modification we are writing about today is most definitely not for the sensitive soul. Be warned.

It’s called Beading. While it may sound all soft and gentle – it’s quite the opposite.

Beading is where small beads made of various materials are inserted beneath the skin of the genitals.

This is how your dog sees you compared to how you see yourself

We all know that if we want unconditional love and support, dogs are the way forward.

No matter how caring your partner is, there’s just something your dog has that they don’t. The ability to listen without debating with you or repeatedly asking ‘but why do you feel like this?’ when you have no explanation as to why you feel so sad.

You can have the worst day at work, but the overly-ecstatic greeting you receive from your furry friend can snap you out of it in an instance.

They are perfect little creatures – and in their eyes we can do no wrong, even when we’re hating on ourselves in the worst possible way.

Now artist Kelly Angel has created perfect little illustration alongside BarkPost to sum up how we see ourselves, compared to how dogs see us.

If you’re having a bit of a downer of a day – this will definitely cheer you up. Or… Read the full story

Twitter user Lindsy West was recently faced with something only your darkest nightmares should be capable of.

When her smoke alarm started going off, she rushed to it to go fix it.

But when the alarm wouldn’t turn off, she opened up the alarm to see what was going with it.

And oh, how she wish she hadn’t.

Because what she was left to deal with was even worse: a sac of spider eggs. Yep, really. Gross, we know.

But, what makes the whole ordeal kind of brilliant, is the fact she live-tweeted the whole thing.

Here she was, faced with the extreme spider sac

She had to make a decision of what to do with said sac

While we may have readily available heated jackets, what we don’t have is heated jackets that look incredibly fashionable.

But Rana Nakhal Solset, founder of Emel and Aris, may be about to shake things up with her first ever line of clothing: ‘Smart Coats’.

For both men and women, these coats feature heating systems that can be adjusted with three temperatures.

‘The technology is made from a specially formulated lightweight polymer. It produces far infrared (FIR) heat energy that is absorbed by the skin to heat the muscles and increase blood flow so you feel warm all over – not hot, just perfectly comfortable,’ Rana says in her promotional video.

According to Online Slang Dictionary, a f*** boy is a male who tries to be something that he knows nothing about.

Urban Dictionary have taken a stronger approach with: ‘A person who is a weak ass pussy that ain’t bout s***.’ Fair enough.

And let’s not lie, most of us know one – or have at least heard about one from an angry friend.

It’s tough being a sensitive person.

No matter how much of a tough exterior you try to maintain on the outside, you can’t help but let the little things get to you.

And then, you feel bad about letting them get to you – wondering why you’re not like this person or that person, who somehow seems to have everything so together all of the time.

Here are 13 things you’ll only know if you’re a really sensitive person.

1. You overthink pretty much everything

‘Did I say that with a rude tone?’ ‘Was that comment aimed at me?’ And so on. Even though most of the time you’re worrying for nothing, you can’t help but question the context of conversation.

2. And you often feel guilty about things

You wonder if things are your fault and, even if they’re not, you somehow manage to find something to feel guilty about. You’ve forgotten what it feels like to not have… Read the full story

A mum-of-three from Seminole, Florida, has been left feeling outraged after a photo that she had uploaded to Facebook was reported and removed.

The photo, which showed Maria Corry breastfeeding her youngest child, had been reported and removed from Facebook on five separate occasions – leaving Maria feeling extremely at the fact a precious moment of hers was being rejected due to being inappropriate.

Of course, breastfeeding is completely natural and in no shape or form is it inappropriate in the slightest. And Maria is proving that, while representing the double standards of women’s bodies we are surrounded by, by re-posting another breastfeeding photo – but this time, covering her breasts with a Victoria’s Secret advertisement.

She shared the photo alongside a very eye-opening caption – one that caught the eyes of 34,000 people, in fact.

She wrote: ‘So since my breastfeeding photo which showed NOTHING got reported more than FIVE times, I’m posting this. I bet this won’t be reported, because you can… Read the full story

Sometimes selfies can be a very powerful thing.

This week a global movement is taking over Instagram – for a good reason. Started by three students from the University of Texas, the #UnfairAndLovely trend is a celebration of darker skin, and a protest against the prevalent shadism in the South Asian community.

Its creators were inspired by a project by Pax Jones, a 21-year-old black student also at the University of Texas.

Pax took some stunning photos of her South Asian friends, Mirusha and Yanusha Yogarajah.
