After a teenager successfully petitioned to give nude a more diverse dictionary definition, one father has taken another step in the right direction.
Toby Meisenhamer, who has two white biological children, three adopted Black children, and one black foster child, founded new company Tru Colour Bandages after realising just how ridiculous it was that he couldn’t find a plaster to match his four-year-old son Kai’s skin.
Toby writes on the company’s website: ‘Everybody deserves a bandage that matches their skin tone and we are working to make that a reality.’
