I’m betting that the majority of us at one point or another has done something to their hair, which once finished, they instantly regretted.

I’m talking the awful dye job, the shoulder length inspired haircut that ended up a lopsided bob, and the uneven fringe that you keep cutting until it’s so short it’s barely visible.

But the most annoying this is not being able to determine whether you want to be dark and mysterious or bubbly and blonde.

Here are things you’ll know if you just can’t stick to one hair colour:

1. You started dying your hair so long ago that you can’t even remember your natural hair colour

2. And at one point you regrettably decided to dye your hair… Read the full story

‘Anxiety is one of the most prevalent mental health problems in the UK and elsewhere, yet it is still under-reported, under-diagnosed and under-treated,’ says the Mental Health Foundation.

Indeed, a YouGov survey of 2,300 adults in Britain carried out for Mental Health Awareness Week 2014, found that almost one in five of us feel anxious all of the time, or a lot of the time.

Sufferers describe waking up with a sense of dread, constant worries over what people think of you, panic about what could happen, often feeling overwhelmed.

So, science vlog ASAP Thought has put together eight simple and scientifically proven… Read the full story

One minute, they’re a little pup who needs carried up the back stairs. The next, they could probably carry you up the stairs.

To prove our point, we give you Ashley Lewis and her German shepherd puppy Nasra.

In just six months, Ashley’s eight-week-old puppy went from a cuddly little fur-baby to a cuddly giant.

Not that anyone’s told Nasra.

‘She’s a big puppy but doesn’t know it,’ Ashley told The Dodo. ‘She still loves to be picked up for a cuddle and squeeze onto the couch with us as well. To be honest, we didn’t really notice her growing as quickly as everyone else did since we see her everyday,… Read the full story

Being in a long term relationship is great because you’re comfortable and you’re in a routine. You have this safety net of happiness that others could only wish for.

And don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love, trust and respect my partner and the bond we have is incredibly strong.

Which is why I feel at ease when talking about the things I do miss about not being in a long term relationship.

1. I miss the beginning

The beginning of any relationship is so exciting. You get those butterflies in your tummy and you sit for hours on end waiting for them to message you. You smile when their name lights up on your phone and you’d risk no sleep in order to stay up and talk to them all night.

Well, this little guy knows exactly how you feel.

All he wants to do is collect up his tennis balls and be on his way. In fact, he’s determined to clear up after himself. But, try as he might (and, bless him, he does try), he just can’t get the job done.

You might not know much about Lyme disease, but it’s probably on your radar as several celebrities have recently opened up about their struggles with it.

Ashley Olsen has been reportedly diagnosed with the disease and Avril Lavigne feared she was at death’s door when she was bitten by infected tick.

Now Yolanda Foster has revealed at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in New York City that her children, Bella and Anwar Hadid, have struggled in silence with the disease for years.

According to the Telegraph, new cases of Lyme disease quadrupled in 12 years, with 1,100 people being diagnosed in 2013.

Wedding photos on Facebook vs. reality (Picture: Chris Chambers/Facebook)

West Yorkshire photographer Chris Chambers is lifting the lid on what actually goes into those picture perfect wedding shots.

Because despite what we want the world – i.e. Facebook – to see, the big day isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, it’s more torrential rain and puddles.

Which is where the ever-professional wedding photographer comes in.

As Chris’ slightly more workaday behind-the-scenes images show, he’s prepared to go to any lengths to get that ‘magical’ shot.

He’ll even lie in puddles if he has to – as this before-and-after shot, which has now been viewed over three million times since it was re-posted on Imgur last week, reveals.

Enjoying a good cup of Joe doesn’t come cheap (Picture: Buddy Loans)

For many, a morning coffee isn’t so much as a want as an all-consuming need to get you through the day.

But beans don’t come free in this life, no matter how much we’d like them to be.

Nope, coffee is a pricey commodity and we’re paying a hell of a lot for it in the UK.

We’re spending the entire fortune of Sir Paul McCartney a year on our coffee habit – that’s £730million.

A cup of Joe every weekday racks up £519 a year on average, which is a lot of money for us less wealthy than the former Beatle.

If you’re one of those unfortunate souls who suffer with resting bitch face, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Of course, there’s some good that comes from having a resting bitch face – being the last choice to sit next to on a packed train, for one. But most of the time, it’s seriously annoying. Especially when you’re actually the most happy-go-lucky person you know.

Here are eight comments every girl with resting bitch face is tired of hearing.

1. ‘I used to think you were stuck up. You’re actually really nice!’

Yes, and I used to think you were kinda cool. But now I think you’re ignorant.

2. ‘Having people constantly ask you if you’re mad and having… Read the full story

So it’s getting nearer to Christmas and there’s less opportunity to exercise in this cold weather.

It’s that kind of time where you just want to chill out on the sofa watching some Netflix. (Seriously, just chilling with Netflix. Not Netflix and chill. That’d be too much exercise).

It’s obvious you’re going to gain a little bit of weight, so is everyone else in the world, right?

Notice how many excuses I just made? For some reason we just can’t accept that we’ve gained a few pounds (or stone).

Here’s things you’ll only relate to if you just can’t accept you’re gained weight.

1. ‘I’m on my period’

Everyone knows that when it’s your time of the month, you’re gonna gain a little bit of a belly.

17 things you’ll know if you’re totally crap at doing your own make-up

Isn’t it the most annoying thing watching YouTubers giving amazing make-up tutorials, only to copy them (in a way you thought was totally accurate) and look in the mirror to see a complete mess?

The bronzer that they so carefully blended is a brown stripe on the wrong part of your cheekbone and their Kylie Jenner lip liner makes it look as though you have two pairs of lips.

It’s impossible.

Here’s 17 things you’ll also know if you’re just totally crap at doing your own make-up

1. You’ll spend your evenings watching tutorial after tutorial of the perfect make-up

2. But you can never follow them because for some reason they think it’s necessary to speed up the videos so fast it’s almost like witchcraft.

3. And when you finally can follow what they’re doing, after several attempts of actually watching the video itself, your finished result looks nothing like theirs.

4. Their smooth, flicked eyeliner ends up looking like… Read the full story

We don’t know whether to lick it or kill it with fire.

Yolanda Gampp, the woman behind YouTube baking channel How To Cake It has shared her recipe for a red velvet brain cake, just in time for Halloween.

And it looks scarily good.

Yolanda first makes the red velvet cake (recipe here) in an eight inch round bowl – and then she starts carving her brain shape with a serrated knife.

‘Carve out a dividing line in the center of the brain where the hemispheres would be divided. Repeat the same process horizontally along the back of the brain,’ she instructs.

Next, she covers it in syrup (recipe here) to keep it moist, before… Read the full story

After 10 years of shrugging off daily predatory, abusive, and graphic messages from strangers online, one woman is fighting back – by posting every single message on Instagram.

Last month, 35-year-old LA-based violinist Mia Matsumiya started the Perv Magnet Instagram account, where she says she plans to post the 1,000+ messages she has received over the last decade from ‘stalkers, pervs & crazies’.

‘Being 4’9″, Asian-American, and a musical performer has sort of been a nightmare combination when it comes to harassment – it seems to attract an insane amount of unacceptable, predatory behavior,’ Mia told HuffPost.
