A Doctor Who fan has built a life-sized Tardis toilet in his back garden, so he doesn’t have to keep traipsing back and forth to the house from his outdoor office to answer the call of nature.

And, like all good Tardises (Tardi?), the interior is more spacious than it looks.

The sci-fi loo comes with flashing lights, a functioning toilet, a sink and heating.

It was designed by 45-year-old app builder Jason Kneen, who commissioned a builder to make the frame before installing some extra special gadgets and effects worthy of the Doctor.

Michelle has taken a different approach to randoms hitting her up online (Picture: Michelle Silveira/Facebook)

Instead of ignoring the random unsolicited approaches she gets from guys online, one woman is hitting back with her own equally random messages.

Michelle Silveira, a 25-year-old accounts manager based in Mumbai, felt compelled to start sending the ridiculous responses out of sheer bewilderment at the number of ‘weird’ approaches from guys on social media.

Particularly the ones where complete strangers try to claim they’ve met somewhere before.

Michelle’s intentionally weird and wonderful replies have proved pretty effective at halting their advances.

Maurice and friends often do the trick.

Hayleigh, who is from Australia, wrote in a Facebook post to Project Semicolon: ‘four weeks ago, part of me died along with my brother, Ben.

‘We had only just lost Mum, 19 months earlier. What else did life think we could possibly handle?’

Alice in Wonderland syndrome - Allie Davies 1
When you can’t sleep because you’re too big for your bed. (Picture: Allie Davies/metro.co.uk)

My name is Ellen, and I have Alice in Wonderland Syndrome.

No, that doesn’t mean I’m trapped in an insane world of Mad Hatters and grinning cats. Or that I’m friends with a white rabbit.

It just means that now and again, parts of my body grow either very large or very small. I’m a giant who’s too big for my bed. Or a tiny person whose clothes are hanging off.

At least, it feels that way. If you recorded me during an Alice in Wonderland period, you wouldn’t see me magically growing or shrinking.… Read the full story

Blogger and mum-of-two Meg Ireland is warning other mums to think carefully before sharing their pregnancy photos online after she discovered hers being used on a preggophilia site.

To save you from Googling it at work, such sites are described as ‘forums for admirers of pregnant women.’

But, with the fly-past already in progress and with the eyes of the world on them, the Queen was having none of it.

You had one job (Picture: Naomi Campbell/Instagram/Jezebel)

It’s what’s now known in the business as ‘doing a Disick’.

We’re not naive. We totally get that celebrities often endorse products on their social media accounts in exchange for the odd freebie. But, we don’t know why some of them have to be so blatant about it.

And why they can’t even compose their own sponsored posts.

Last month, Scott Disick totally messed up a promotional tweet for Bootea protein shake when he accidentally copied and pasted a message from the PR company, which not only told him what to say about product but when to say it.

Which is pretty good, when you consider that some London restaurants serve a similar sized cut for around £90.

At that price, you could be eating Wagyu with your cereal for breakfast, Wagyu in your sandwiches, Wagyu on toast.

The new Wagyu range features a ribeye beef steak and a sirloin beef steak.

He was later signed by White Cross Management.

And he’s now counting down to the end of his house arrest and the start of a new life as a full-time model by posting topless selfies on Instagram.

Apparently, crime does sometimes pay. Particularly if you’ve got piercing blue eyes and chiseled… Read the full story

The world of dating has moved on from the days of proudly declaring you have a GSOH. Mostly because we don’t need to stick to the word limit for newspaper ads.

But while we have loads more freedom to fill our online dating bios with all the details that make us who we are, there are still some rules it’s probably wise to follow.

Obviously it’s not a great idea to mention all your most controversial opinions up front. Maybe don’t say anything offensive in your opening statement. Make sure you actually have a bio (you’re not being cool and mysterious,… Read the full story

So chilled. (Picture: Getty)

I’ll be honest. I’m not exactly the sportiest person around.

I’m not a fan of football. I’m clumsy, so anything involving running and balls will only end in disaster. I don’t like excessive enthusiasm and cheering for a team just feels like a lot of effort.

But I could definitely get behind this competitive sport.

In South Korea, doing absolutely nothing is officially a sport. Yup. Chilling, relaxing, aimless pondering – whatever you want to call it, it’s all about sitting back and making zero effort. And it’s an actual sport you can compete in.
