Do your sneaky colleagues keep stealing your food and drink from the office fridge?

Perhaps it’s time you stopped silently fuming or sending group emails to target the culprit – and simply got your own back.

If you’re stuck on how exactly to do that, we’ve got some inspiration for you.

One woman who was facing the problem of milk theft dealt with the situation perfectly – and has most likely left the culprit with a sour taste in their mouth.

Literally.

The woman, who identifies herself as B, had noticed the milk which she had left in the fridge being stolen over an entire week by a colleague who was seemingly too cheap to buy their own.

Deciding to have the last laugh on the situation, B left a note for the thief, to ensure her milk was left well alone from then on.

The note was posted to Facebook page Breastfeeding Mama Talk, where it has so… Read the full story

Salmon is a great source of vitamin D. (Picture: Getty)

So you may be panicking a little after Public Health England declared that we ALL need to sort our lives out and seriously up our vitamin D levels. Mostly because you don’t actually have a clue how to seriously up your vitamin D levels.

This is important, because vitamin D is vital for the absorption and regulation of calcium and phosphorus in the body. If you don’t get enough, you could end up with sensitive bones and immune system sensitivity. Neither of which are very fun.

But don’t panic. You can sort this out.

While the easiest way to take in vitamin D is through sunlight (which is… Read the full story

For many long-term couples, sex can drop down the priority list.

Often overshadowed by work, sleep, the need to relax and socialise, sex takes a back seat – with ‘We’ll do it later’ becoming a go-to phrase.

It doesn’t mean your partner doesn’t find you attractive and by no means does it have to mean that your relationship is deteriorating.

But if you want to bring some excitement back into your relationship, you need to spice things up.

In reality, ‘spicing things up’ isn’t always as sexy as it sounds – but it can actually bring you closer together nonetheless.

Here are 14 things every long-term couple has attempted to spice up their relationship.

1. Sexting

Sure, you did a lot of it throughout the beginning of your relationship – but after years of being together, there’s little left to the imagination, really. You know what each other looks like. And you totally know whether your partner is actually into the… Read the full story

Dum Dum Donutterie has created a luxury version of the doughnut-croissant hybrid, coming in at a (frankly ridiculous) £1,500.

Young nurse Mary Walls Penney, who works with patients who have Alzheimer’s and dementia, currently has colourful rainbow dyed hair, along with multiple piercings and tattoos.

While she was paying for her shopping, the cashier spotted her badge from the nursing home in Wyoming County, West Virginia, and asked her what she did.

Type Baldwin Street into Instagram and up comes hundreds of pictures of cute clapboard houses sinking into the ground.

Tourists are queuing up to capture the optical illusion, created with a simple tilt of the camera, on the world’s steepest street.

You’ll find the residential street in Dunedin, New Zealand, but, be warned it’s a bit of climb to the top.

It runs at a gradient of 1:2.86m (a 19 degree slope), which means for every 2.86 metres horizontally, the elevation changes by one metre.

Fisherman meets huge great white shark, pokes it in the head
I’ve been expecting you (Picture: Instagram/Brett Levingston)

This is the moment a diver came face to face with a great white shark while fishing off Moreton Bay on the coast of South East Queensland.

Brett Levingston, who was out for a day’s spearfishing with three friends, found himself eyeballing the four-foot-long shark as it swam straight towards him.

Rather than do a little panic wee and pass out from fright as it continued to head straight for him, Brett ‘gave it a good poke in the head’ with the unloaded speargun, making it change direction.

He later posted a snap of his close encounter on Instagram, writing:… Read the full story

Everyone listen up. A woman being pregnant does not give you the right to comment on her body or what she’s doing with it.

Her pregnancy is not an invitation for you to offer your opinions on how she should behave or how she should look. It’s her body. She decides. ‘Kay?

One woman has had enough of people constantly adding negative comments on pictures of her pregnant body.

Sydney Leroux Dwyer is a player on the U.S. women’s national soccer team. She’s an Olympic athlete, so she likes to keep active. She also happens to be pregnant.

New vaginal ring developed to protect women against HIV

You’ve probably heard of the vaginal ring before. It’s one of the less common contraceptives available for women (…obviously).

It sits inside your vagina for three weeks, releasing hormones that prevent pregnancy…and looks a bit like a glow-stick bracelet.

Fewer than 0.5% of women use the NuvaRing as a form of contraception – even though it’s been available in the UK since 2009. But it’s much more popular in places like Spain which has had it for longer.

So why don’t doctors prescribe it more? Maybe it has something to do with the number of dangerous side effects women have experienced in the past.

But now, a new innovative vaginal ring has been developed to protect… Read the full story

It’s hot. We’re bothered. We don’t have our very own private beach OR an inflatable swan to lounge on, and that makes us very sad.

The only way we’re going to enjoy this stupid heatwave is if we spend the majority of our days in a pool, preferably between sips of piña coladas.

Our inspiration for this glorious life plan? Dogs.

Dogs are superb at lounging in pools. They love pools. They are the epitome of all our pool goals.

The second you put a dog in its own paddling pool, it is the happiest being in the world.

Another day, another hashtag. And this time, it was inspired by the Internet-based series Midnight on Comedy Central, with people sharing the most backhanded compliments they’ve ever received.

Since then, #CrappyCompliments has been trending around the world – usually concerning how fat, ugly or dump people are.

And there were quite a few which were simply outrageous.

Some were just plain rude:

Others insulted two whole species:

Whereas we kids of the 90s were lucky to get even a glimpse of sunshine for the whole six weeks of the summer holidays. Trips abroad were something that only happened to other kids.

Here are nine summer holidays you probably went on if you were a kid in the 90s.

Going on holiday while vegan (which, let’s be honest, can be an absolute nightmare at the moment) might be about to get a little bit easier.

The new mayor of Turin, Italy, has just announced that she’d quite like to make her city a whole lot more vegan and vegetarian.

Chiara Appendino, Turin’s new mayor and a member of the Five Star Movement, released a 62 page manifesto this week, which detailed how she plans to make promoting vegan and vegetarian diets a ‘priority’.

It’s the tiny grin that says it was all worthwhile.

The moment a baby girl, who was born profoundly deaf, heard her mum’s voice for the first time has been captured on video and it will give you a lump in your throat.

Three-month-old Annabelle Lawrence from Idaho received two tiny hearing aids on Wednesday and can be seen blinking in shock after mum Sarah Jo asks ‘Can you hear?’.

As she registers her mum’s voice for the very first time, the little baby seems to experience a whole range of emotions, from bewilderment, to excitement, to consternation.
