Yum? (Picture: makeuptutorialsx0x/Instagram)

These Swiss cheese nails are dividing opinion.

Some think they’re cheesy and no gouda; others just want to lick them.

Either way, an Instagram video on how to recreate the quirky nail art has now been viewed 23,500 times in the last 24-hours, since it was reposted by a makeup tutorials Instagram page.

It seems to have been originally created for foodie site Tastemade.

The nail artist has already made small holes in the acrylic nails – in the same way as you would do for a nail piercing.

Bow down to Alice. (Picture: Instagram/hallo.alice)

All cats are beautiful, obviously. But Alice is someone pretty special.

Alice is a six-year-old Persian mix cat. She’s a little fluff ball. She’s absolutely gorgeous, mostly thanks to the (very on-trend) marble effect of her grey and white fur, her green eyes, and, of course, those tiny little paws and ears. Adorable.

Alice is also an experienced traveller, having lived in four countries and frequently travelling on planes with her owner, Yara. She even has her own passport.

But when Alice isn’t jetting around the world, she’s lounging.

If you’ve been inspired by Rio 2016 to get in the pool and be the next Adam Peaty, then you *might* need a bit of help with your diet.

While the odd protein shake and pasta bowl might work for amateurs, proper athletes have a dietary plan every bit as arduous as their training regimes.

So, what exactly do Olympic champions chow down on?

Well, you might want to stock up on carbs and protein if these guys are anything to go by.

We’ve all donned a pair of beer goggles before. The ugliest slob in the club suddenly looks like a 10 after a few pints. But does weed have the same effect on our sex lives?

Does it also lead us to making dodgy decisions that are instantly regrettable in the cold morning light?

Well, a new study has found that alcohol may lead to riskier behaviour than marijuana.

We’re constantly being told to drink more water, but to be honest, a lot of us simply forget.

You’ll have no excuse though, if you own one of these reusable bottles. Not only do they look great, but they’ll be saving you money (no more bottled water) and saving the planet (less plastic going into landfill).

Plastic can take up to 500 years to fully decompose, and it’s killing one million sea creatures a year when it ends up in the ocean. According to Recycle More, an estimated 13 billion plastic bottles are disposed of each year.

So you kind of owe it to the planet to treat yourself… Read the full story

Turns out cat people really are more likely to be single than dog people

Sorry to break this to you, but a lot of cat people stereotypes are kind of true. (Picture: Getty)

If you identify yourself as a cat person, you’re going to hear a lot of sh*t about ‘who you are’.

Cat people are loners, say dog people. They’re antisocial. They’d rather have a pet that secretly hates them than a dog, who’s enthuiastic and unconditionally loving.

Us cat people also have to deal with the cat lady stereotype.

We get told we’re going to die alone, surrounded by cats (who will probably eat us after we go).

Cat people declare all those ideas ridiculous, offering evidence that they definitely aren’t true. Just look at us,… Read the full story

Through Sporty & Rich, Emily sells pared-back t-shirts, hoodies, and bags, each with the words ‘Sporty & Rich’ stitched into the fabric.

Her designs – while pretty simple – stick to a certain theme, so they’re pretty easy to identify as hers.

The 26-year-old artist has a passion for re-imagining Disney characters, as he feels the ‘sense of nostalgia’ that comes with it is a ‘fascinating and fun personal project’ to explore.

Jirka has most recently re-imagined Princess Anastasia.

Though it doesn’t contribute to his Disney portfolio, it’s a staggeringly stunning piece of art that quite frankly, needs to be seen.

So peaceful. (Picture: Stephan Zirwes)

It’s (finally) summer. It’s hot. You’re sweaty. You’ve used up all your holiday allowance and are now desperately seeking a way to make your days feel like weeks spent in the south of France.

The obvious solution? A dip in a fancy pool.

Except that most of the pools on offer are filled with kids out on their summer holidays, loud teens, and serious length-swimmers who have no respect for your very important time spent lounging on an inflatable swan with a can of pre-mixed mojito.

Shame, that.

A teenager who has spent six years’ worth of pocket money buying 1,500 pieces of Doctor Who memorabilia says that her collection is now worth almost £10,000.

Sophie Clark, 17, started collecting back in 2010 but has now been banned as her mum claims her life-sized Daleks and aliens are taking over their house.

She’s even resorted to using the garage as a storage room for the bits of memorabilia that are too big to fit into the house.

But despite how much the collection is now worth, Sophie says that she’ll never sell a single item.

After 2.5 million re-pins on Pinterest, this dress has been declared the most popular wedding dress ever.

Discuss.

Described as a ‘boho beach wedding dress’ for free spirited modern brides, it was first launched by Australian bridal label Grace Loves Lace back in 2013.

Featuring a bodice of delicate French lace with spaghetti straps, a low cut back and a lightweight Italian chiffon skirt, the gown was designed by the label’s founder Megan Ziems and named after her sister.

Naturally, it’s completely sold out.

But, the label (which has show rooms on the Gold Coast and in LA) still… Read the full story

Cherish that hot coffee you are drinking (Picture: Getty)

I have a confession to make. When I was a new mum I did NOT cherish every moment.

In fact, I found that cherish-worthy moments were few and far between.

My life consisted of trying to get babies to sleep, trying to get some sleep and wondering what the hell I was doing! So I mainly wanted to punch all of the moments in the face.

However, there were a few special times I wish I had not taken for granted. Watch out for these moments as you’ll never get them back (seriously, NEVER):

1. The rare moment you take a sip of a hot coffee.

2. That new lease of life you get when… Read the full story
