Bad news for sheet mask enthusiasts. (Picture: Instagram/chrissyteigen)

In our endless journey for super soft skin, we jumped on the sheet mask trend without a second thought.

Sheet masks were so easy. So accessible. Plus they made us look like scary ghosts, which is always a plus.

But it turns out our sheet mask obsession may not be as pure and wonderful as we previously thought.

Racked has carried out an in-depth investigation and report on the sheet mask industry, and what they found is kind of worrying. Their discoveries raise serious concerns over the way sheet masks are made, and whether the sheet masks we buy are really safe and clean… Read the full story

Or is that just me?

Somehow, it’s suddenly September and that means only one thing.

We’re not talking darker mornings, we’re not talking leaves on the ground – we’re talking PSL. As in, Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

As of September 1, the Insta-famous autumnal espresso drink infused with pumpkin, creamy steamed milk, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove, is back at all UK Starbucks stores.

And this year, they’ve even got the brand new PSL Frappuccino – for people still in denial about summer being over.

However, there’s one guy who is not happy about the return of the… Read the full story

Rylee fell overboard when the couple were trying to fix their boat on Sunday (Picture: Kristin Casas)

A 10-month-old puppy swam for six miles and then walked for over 12 miles to be reunited with her family after falling overboard.

Rylee, a ten-month-old Belgian Malinois, fell off the boat in the middle of Lake Michigan, while her owners Edward and Kristin Casas were trying to fix a mechanical fault in the engine room.

‘Our hearts just sank,’ Ed said of the moment they realised Rylee had disappeared. Rylee, however, didn’t. She started swimming.

As soon as Ed and Kristin realised the pup had gone missing on Sunday, they made a ‘mayday dog overboard’ call over the radio to… Read the full story

#NeverForget (Picture: Abbi Price/Twitter)

We’ve all made mistakes. We’ve all had a few too many Diamond Whites and then spent our night bowing down to the porcelain throne/talking to Ralph on the big white telephone/praying to the porcelain gods. You get the idea.

But, we live, we learn, we move on.

Except this mum won’t let her daughter forget.

After an ill-advised early celebration gone wrong ahead of her 18th birthday, Abbi Price’s mum Sharon found her slouched in the bathroom, with her head in the loo. After first checking she was okay, Mum decided to capture the moment on camera so she could use it to teach her a lesson. Over and over again.

People are accidentally mistaking doll-sized desks for actual size ones... and buying them

It’s important that if you’re going to order online, you should read every part of the product description before checking out your basket.

Kids share the things they wish they could tell their teacher and it's heartbreaking

Otherwise, you may end up with something you weren’t expecting.

Much like these people, who have spent their hard earned cash on a particular desk on Amazon.

On first glance, it looks like a normal-sized desk but, when looking again, has actually been designed for dolls houses.

There’s a number of things that are totally off limits when in a relationship.

Calling each other names, stealing each other’s food and cheating.

You’d think those three things are simple enough things to avoid but apparently, one guy didn’t get the memo.

After discovering the infidelity, the seething girlfriend decided to take out all of her hurt and anger on her Instagram account – by re-captioning all of her photos of them together as a couple.

And yes, the captions do get rather brutal. But we’re guessing her words didn’t hurt as much as she did.

Let’s just say she was really, really angry

We all know school can be rough.

Teachers and parents just didn’t understand that it wasn’t an easy life having to count to ten or colour in between the lines.

25 dogs who are so ready to go back to school

What if we wanted to colour OUTSIDE of the lines?

One little girl looks as though she spent the day doing just that – which is surprising, considering she left for school the same morning looking like a completely different person.

Posting to Reddit, the girl’s mother had snapped two pictures of the little girl. One before school and one after.

Now and again, you’ll find yourself in a situation you really don’t know how to get yourself out of.

That’s when you need to step back, admit that you don’t know everything, and ask for help.

It can feel a little embarrassing. It’s tough to say that you’re not a genius person who’s capable of doing everything.

But in those moments – when you ask for help when you really need it – something wonderful can happen. There’s a moment of connection, of understanding that the world is filled with kind, goodhearted… Read the full story

Fancy living in a timewarp? (Picture: Century 21)

This house was decorated in the early 1970s and hasn’t been touched since. It is glorious.

And it’s for sale. Although to live there, you will have to move to Framingham, Massachusetts.

Alternatively – and probably better for those who can’t handle too much visceral stimulation – you can just enjoy the orange shag-pile, the canary yellow formica worktops and the psychedelic wallpaper from afar.

The five-bedroom detached property, for sale at $624,900 (£479,000), is described by estate agent Century 21 as an ‘entertainment paradise inside and out’.

As well as the five spacious bedrooms, the house has a pool, a massive living room with burnt orange shagpile, a private romantic… Read the full story

Attention all lazy people: finally, someone’s come up with a way for you to never have to do laundry again.

Well, kind of. You’ll still need to wash your clothes.

But a major part of essential laundry-themed errands has just been chopped out of your life: bedsheets.

We all know we’re supposed to wash our bedsheets once a week, to prevent all kinds of gross stuff from happening. But we are lazy. So we let our sheets get musty and disgusting, eventually giving in to the washing machine only when we have someone coming over.

Now, finally, we may never have to wash our sheets again.

This little sister is a hero to little sisters everywhere.

Not only has she put together a book of recipes entitled ‘Recipes You Absolutely Can’t F*ck Up’ for her older brother Warren who can’t cook, but she’s relentlessly mocked him throughout and she’s laminated each page.

On top of this, these are genuine recipes featuring a lot of your favourite comfort foods, prompting quite a few screw-ups people to ask if she’s thought of bringing out a cookbook.

Let’s be honest, when most of us think of The Neverending Story we think of that earworm of a song and watching Barret Oliver as Bastian riding on the back of Falkor the luckdragon on a grainy VCR tape.

Did you even realise the cult 80s film was based on a classic children’s book?

Well it was, and today’s Google Doodle celebrates its 37th anniversary.

The Neverending Story was written by Michael Ende, a children’s novellist from Germany whose other works include a series based around a character called Jim Button, and a book about time theives called Momo.
