The perfect hairdresser is hard to find – so when you do find one, you try and cling on to them for dear life.

But one man is so determined to stay loyal to his barber that he travels 500 miles for a haircut…and no doubt would go 500 more.

Ray James, who lives in the Scottish Highlands, does a 1,000 mile round trip to Dudley in the West Midlands, four times a year, for a trim.

And not only that, but he does it in his 53-year-old Morris Minor.

This new mum wrote a hilarious list of 20 things you need to know about 'pushing out a baby'

Anyone who has to spend eight/nine/10/12/however many hours a day dealing with irate members of the public, quite frankly, deserves a medal.

Unsurprisingly, it’s tougher for women.

Research from the University of Strathclyde found that women who work in customer-facing roles are more likely to encounter weight-based prejudice than their male colleagues, even if the women are not overweight and the men are.

It seems, however, that one girl has heard one too many dad jokes – and she’s seriously had enough.

So, in true moody daughter fashion – she put her old man down a peg or two by trying out his own bad joke on himself.

Addison Gibbs got fed up with waiting for her front tooth to come out because it was bleeding, so turned to her bow and arrow for help.

Pregnancy and childbirth are mysterious and miraculous things – but if you haven’t had a kid yet, you’re probably basing that knowledge on soaps and films.

You’re probably expecting a dramatic, bloody labour (perhaps with multiple potential fathers fighting it out in the delivery room), before going back to your size 10 frame a few days later and heading off into the sunset.

Apparently, this is a complete myth.

So to put us all in the more accurate picture, one Hertfordshire-based blogger and experienced baby-pusher has written an hilarious guide to the whole thing.

Bekki Pope, who blogs under the name of Mummy Mumbles, has written a list of ’20 things to know when you’ve just pushed out a baby’,… Read the full story

My recent article about ‘willy-cloning’ was greeted with such interest and hilarity on social media that the company responsible for the kits – Empire Labs, of Portland, Oregon – got in touch to ask if I fancied trying out a female version, the charmingly named ‘Clone a Pussy‘.

My immediate reaction was ‘of course I will, send it over!’

Throw out your carefully spiralised courgetti. Stop replacing your bread with thinly sliced bits of sweet potato. Get rid of the avocado and give your burger a proper bun.

It turns out that taking healthy foods like vegetables and dressing them up so they can masquerade as junk food could be a massive mistake when it comes to getting fit.

Why? Because the mental gymnastics required to eat courgette ‘pasta, avocado ‘ice cream’, and the avocado ‘bun’ could end up backfiring on us.
