Meet Lily Heaume, an 18-year-old student at Hampstead School of Art. Lily has recently finished her project 10 Portraits, which is a series of fascinating sculptures of, er, penises.

These aren’t just any old penises. These are penises that Lily knows very well.

Lily was inspired to start 10 Portraits when she received a ‘bullsh*t text’ from a guy she had slept with.

Proving that fairy tales really do happen, a couple who met while playing dwarfs in a Snow White panto have finally tied the knot.

And they were joined by their son – who is the only ‘double dwarf’ in the UK.

Laura Whitfield, who is 4ft 2in, proposed to 3ft 11in Nathan Phillips a month before giving birth.

Nathan Junior wasn’t expected to live more than a few hours, being born with two different forms of dwarfism – anachondaplasia like his mum, and pseudochondaplasia like his dad.

They look lame, ruin your hair and accumulate sweat like nothing else. But if you’re the sort of person who doesn’t wear a bike helmet for these reasons, then listen up.

A recent study has shown that wearing a bike helmet can reduce the risk of serious head injury by 69%, and reduce the chance of a fatal head injury by 65%.

And this isn’t one of those random studies that has a sample of 10 people – researchers looked at the helmet use of over 64,000 cyclists to reach their conclusions, which were presented at Safety 2016 world… Read the full story

Forget about candlelit dinners, trips to the movies and picnics at sunset, because this girl’s absolutely perfected the art of romance – and it comes in the form of a potato.

Yes, one woman knew that the only way to her bae’s heart was through a potato and a heartfelt note that read: ‘I don’t want to set the world on fire, I just want to start a flame in your heart.’

Isn’t that adorable?

Apparently, her boyfriend received the potato in the mail, and it came as a total surprise. Posting two images of his, er, gift… Read the full story

Oi, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is here. It’s Yeezy season.

Which means it’s a wonderful time of people frantically refreshing their Adidas apps, genuinely considering calling in sick to camp outside shoe shops, and many, many smug Instagrams from people displaying their fresh, unblemished Yeezys.

Yup. The new Yeezy Boosts are nearly here. Get in line.

Of course, actually getting hold of your own pair of Yeezys won’t be easy. It’s a test of endurance and ingenuity, devised by Kanye West with the sole purpose of ruining lives, breaking friendships, and making you spend all your money on a pair… Read the full story

Dinner is the best meal of the day. Fact. And as such, restaurant dinners never quite last long enough.

In London, it’s very much a ‘get them in, get them out’ mentality.

But one team of private chefs have decided to make dinner last as long as possible.

16 hours and 40 minutes in fact.

On Saturday, October 8, 100 Londoners will have a chance to take part in a record breaking feast – consisting of 100 individual dishes served over the course of 1,000 minutes.

To be honest, we’re getting a bit sick of seeing the butterfly Snapchat filter – even if you don’t have Snapchat, you’re still bombarded with pictures of glittery-looking faces adorned with butterfly crowns, as people somehow feel the need to screenshot themselves using it.

However, we’ve got to give credit to this sassy caiman, who’s trumped all of you with his colourful butterfly headpiece.

He doesn’t even need Snapchat’s skin-perfecting filter, as he’s #flawless as he is and probably #wokeuplikethis.

As Kim and Kanye are pop culture royalty, it’s only right and proper that they be commemorated in an iconic art work.

The same goes for Justin Bieber, as reward for his tireless production of annoyingly catchy hits.

A group of graphic designers from Australia, France, Ghana, Iran and a host of other countries have transformed classical portraits into more up-to-date masterpieces, featuring our favourite celebs.

Patrick Stewart looks like he was born to be Rembrandt’s ‘Old Man in Military Costume’.

While Johnny Depp looks more sinister than usual in the black ensemble of the 1580 ‘Portrait of a Gentleman’, by Tintoretto.

Urban Outfitters is the edgier, pricier version of Topshop.

So they’re not the kind of store you’d expect to come under fire for being transphobic.

But one gender fluid customer, Nicholas Gorham, says that they were turned away from the women’s dressing rooms and singled out by an employee.

Writing for Mic, Nicholas says: ‘Last month, I headed west to Los Angeles to visit my best friend Tamara.

‘And just as we’ve done for twenty years, I expect to try on the ‘women’s’ clothing I’ve selected in a ‘women’s’ dressing room next to my buddy.’

Nicholas identifies as trans.

They used to be the preserve of punk rockers and rebels.

But now that celebs like Rihanna and even bloody Jessica Biel are wearing them, septum piercings are pretty much the norm.

Well, not quite the norm, but certainly more mainstream.

I’d been thinking about getting my septum – the cartilage in the middle of the nose separating the nostrils – pierced for quite some time. Maybe a year.

Loads of people were against me doing it – and, now that I’ve done it, they haven’t changed their mind.

Orange leaves everywhere (Picture:Matt Cardy/Getty)

Because it’s not really a new season unless you take several photos of it.

Welcome to autumn, where you can leave your bikinis, ice creams, beer gardens and other rubbish behind, because now it’s about to get cold, dark and frankly a whole lot better.

And what better way to celebrate than by photographing all the good things?

Expect to see a lot of leaves, an abundance of oranges, reds, yellows, a healthy dose of pumpkins, and of course some amazing Halloween outfits.

Here’s a round up of pictures that are essentially peak autumn.

Avoiding starting your assignment until one day before it’s due is one of the most regrettable things a student can do.

But you know what’s even more regrettable? Forgetting about it until the early hours of the morning before it’s due – when you’re blind drunk from a night out and you can’t tell your head from your toes.

So you can only imagine how McKenna Clark felt, having checked her emails the morning after a night out to find she’d sent her professor a very drunk, very brief, very badly spelled assignment.

Oh, and that she’d told him she loved him. Incredible.
