Apple’s iOS 9 sex tracker won’t be good for our sex lives (shocker)

The latest update on Apple’s pre-installed Health app? A sex tracker.

That’s right ladies and gents, the i0S 9 will let you keep tabs what goes on between the sheets. Which, if you’re actually entering details into your smart phone on, is nada. Nothing.

MORE: Apple’s latest iOS 9 software tracks your sexual activity

Is this not the most ridiculous thing? Who has the time to type in the exact details on the last time they had sex or, wait for it, cervical mucus data. Way, way too much information.

And it’s not like being online ALL the damn time isn’t already affecting our relationships. As in, we’re opting for more browsing time over actual sex. WTF?

Just chillin’ in my shower cubicle (Picture: Twitter)

That’s a strange looking loofah.

Nestled among the shampoos, conditioners and flannels is actually Lysette Melendez’s little puppy Benji.

What’s a dog doing in the shower tidy thingy you may well ask? Well, as 16-year-old Lysette from California explains: ‘He kept following me & I had to shower so I let him stay in the bathroom then he cried because he couldn’t see me so.’

So, she made him a little puppy bed near the top – penthouse suite, get in – to keep him from getting drenched and smelling like wet dog.

Richard Herring: Post Office queue is absolute murder

AS I have mentioned before, Shepherd’s Bush Green Post Office is the worst place on Earth, the doorway to the underworld, populated by the shadowy creatures that can only exist in this netherworld.

But I still keep going, partly for the entertainment value and partly so I can live-tweet my progress to the counter at #postofficequeuelive. Follow me at @Herring1967 and you get all kinds of irritating services including me RTing Richard Dawkins every time he RTs his own praise, commentating on QPR home games based solely on the noise I can hear from the crowd and, of course, my infamous March 8 International Women’s Day service of letting idiots know that International Men’s Day is on… Read the full story

Want some 90s nostalgia? (Picture: Twitter)

#InThe90sIThought is currently trending on Twitter and it’s the Best. Hashtag. Ever.

It’s a virtual walk down memory lane.

So, let’s take it back to a time when Zac and Kelly were still together, when people wore high-waisted baggy blue denim like it was the bomb, and no one could fit their s*dding Discman in their pocket.

Also, can we all take a moment to remember SM:TV’s Wonky Donky? Gone but never forgotten.

When you went camping in France and brought these back to deal in the playground.

We were all wrong.

Planning a girls’ or lads’ holiday this summer? Well turns out, your partner may not be too pleased.

And contrary to popular assumptions, it’s actually men who are more reluctant to see their partner head off for a holiday with their mates.

A massive 69 per cent of men surveyed said they would be ‘uncomfortable/wouldn’t like it’ if their partner went away with her friends, compared to just 38 per cent of women who said the same.

Somewhat depressingly, the top reason guys gave for not wanting their lasses to holiday without them was that they were worried they would cheat.

Please don’t let this be true IRL.

Millenial bearded hipster man, blogger and model Joel Alexander has committed the cardinal sin of shaving his beard instigating a new trend: ‘Fresh clean’. *Scream*

You only have to glance at Joel’s Instagram feed (@hahajoel) to see that he does facial hair well. Ridiculously well.

But now he’s doing sans beard, because apparently ‘the big beard trend is over and done’.

How to have sex on a plane (and not get caught)

Want to join the mile high club?

Obviously we totally advise against it. Sex on a plane is (technically) illegal.

But *if* you were going to slip into the toilet for a sneaky session this is how you should do it (theoretically speaking, of course).

First, have a HUGE row with your girlfriend, wife, partner, lover, friend with benefits. Whatevs.

Rowing-3

Make sure the whole of the aircraft hears how much you really really hate them.

sex2

Be considerate. Take the row to a quieter place… say, for example, the toilet. Together.

toilet

Lock the door. BAM.

sex3

Make sure you scream and shout really loudly. You need to ensure the plane knows you are having the wildest of rows.

sex4

Oh yes.

Miley’s leading the way (Picture: Instagram)

Women are posting pictures of their long, flowing armpit hair on Instagram to celebrate being liberated from their razors. Yep, pit hair is now trending.

After years of shaving/plucking/threading/waxing/bleaching every hair follicle not situated on their scalps, and inspired by celebs including Miley and Girls star Jemima Kirke, women are gradually accepting their body hair.

For many, being able to ditch the constant depilation is like a release.

The move away from plucked pits is seen as a rebellion against the Herculean (or should we say Kardashian) levels of grooming required in the noughties, when women’s bodies were expected to be slick and hairless like newborn seals.

Women are now embracing the natural look, posting pictures on Instagram pages like pitangels and… Read the full story

HEELS GIF

Nothing takes a girl down like a killer pair of seven inch stilettos.

A new study by the University of Alabama at Birmingham published in The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery has revealed that heel-related injuries have DOUBLED in the last 10 years.

No wonder flats have started getting a really good rep since 2012. Epic fall just doesn’t go with shiny new outfit. Not even Naomi Campbell can style it out.

The research revealed that the number of women who reported heel-related injuries in 2002 across the U.S was 7,097 and had reached 14,140 in 2014. The figure was a whopping 19,058 in 2011.

Ouch.

Not only were injuries most seen in women aged between 20 and 39, but findings also revealed that almost half of injuries happened at home.

Children are SO easy to deceive – but that doesn’t mean we should lie to them, right?

Personally, we’re still smarting over the tooth fairy lies (SPOILER: there actually isn’t a flying sprite building homes out of your discarded enamel, sorry) but it turns out that we were fed far more false rumours than we even realised.

And the Twitter community have been uniting to shame the worst of them with the trending (and very U.S.A. spelled) hashtag #FalseChildhoodRumors.

How many of these were you told – and how many did you naively believe?

It just left a mess!

Oh em gee (Picture: Cupcakes by SJ)

I do take this cake, to have and to hold from this day forward.

Yes, someone has made a wedding Lego cake and it’s the stuff of dreams.

As well as seemingly being built out of teeny tiny fondant Lego bricks, the cake also features little Lego builders dotted about, who appear to be still busy rolling out the final layer of icing.

And then there’s the Lego bride and groom on top.

This masterpiece is the work of London bakery Cupcakes by SJ and was created for a family member’s wedding. The picture has now been liked over 135,000 times since it was shared on Facebook over the weekend.

In Sweden, you get a text when your blood is used to save someone’s life (Picture: Reuters)

With the number of blood donors in decline all over the world, Sweden has come up with a genius incentive scheme – they send the donor a text every time they save a life.

According to NHS Blood and Transplant, the number of new volunteers giving blood in England and North Wales has dropped by 40 per cent in a decade.

Hence the campaign this week – for National Blood Week – that saw the letters A, O, and B disappearing from street signs and brands across the country – those letters donate the blood groups most needed to maintain supplies.

Well, this new Swedish initiative could be the… Read the full story
