Redditor weezabeeb shared two photos on Reddit yesterday. Two photos that wrecked our soul, broke our hearts, and made us want to run over to the nearest shelter, adopt a puppy, and never let him out of our sights.

The photos have been viewed more than 1.6million times – for good reason.

Weezabeeb explains: ‘We had to put our dog of 16 years down yesterday, but before we did that we recreated our favourite photo with him.’
