We tried Chinese cupping therapy and it really wasn’t as scary as we thought
Chinese cupping therapy has been around for YEARS, but it’s recently been getting loads of attention online.
Why? Because celebrities – from Lena Dunham to (most recently) Aisleyne off Big Brother – keep sharing slightly scary photos of massive red welts on their backs, usually with some variation of ‘ouch’ in the caption.
Turns out they haven’t been engaging in anything too hardcore, but instead the ancient Chinese art of cupping therapy, in which an expert takes specially designed glass cups, heats them up using fire, and then applies them to your skin.

There’s a gin distillery at Gatwick Airport so you can drink fancy cocktails before you fly
Gin fans – the world’s first airport gin distillery is open for business at Gatwick tomorrow (Monday, February 29).
The distillery, called The Nicholas Culpeper, includes a shop and a bar meaning fancy gin cocktails for all, plus Duty Free before you fly.
The shop will be serving up a unique gin called The Nicholas Culpeper London Dry Gin named, as the shop is, after an English botanist.
Said gin is distilled from an exotic blend including Chinese Cassia Bark and Angelica root from India.

Soup for cats is a thing now
So, yeah, soup for cats is a thing now.
This despite our furry friends not having opposable thumbs (yet) meaning they’ll struggle with the spoon.
Purina Gourmet, which claims to be ‘the pinnacle of feline dining,’ says it’s made the first soup for cats.
Although I should point out other brands are available, albeit going by the names ‘broth’ and ‘liquid cat food’.
Anyway, this fancy soup has been, and I quote ‘designed as an appetiser’ for cats ‘with sophisticated palates’.
