Happy Easter weekend!

We’ll be honest, we didn’t think we could get any cuter or more Easter-y than 23 bunnies being all excited for Easter weekend.

But here it is. Someone’s beaten those bunnies to the finish line. This is both peak Easter and peak cuteness. We’re not even sure if you’re ready for this.

Avon Country and Adventure Park just welcomed four little chicks, now only four-days-old. This week staff introduced those chicks to Mabel the lop-eared rabbit.

You know the type. The guy who says he just wants a ‘chill girl’. The one who’s so done with drama.

The guy who gets super intense the second you show him any attention, clearly demonstrating that he is drama-filled and chill-free.

Ben is one of those guys. Ben is a guy who decided to write a silly thing on Facebook. Ben got owned, and the whole thing got shared on Imgur.

‘F*** man there are some clingy girls in this world damn,’ moaned Ben. The poor dear.

The iconic image of planes flying in to land over sunbathers’ heads has already put this Caribbean island on the map. But beyond that photo, what else does this corner of paradise have to offer?

Close to millionaires’ playground St Barts, Saint Martin is home to some of the Caribbean’s best beaches, rugged mountains and a deliciously warm tropical climate – average temperature 26 degrees.

Each year, people around the world gather to celebrate a truly religious experience: Air Max Day.

There’s apparently another celebration going on, about someone called Jesus. But we’re pretty sure this ‘Easter’ we’re hearing so much about won’t outshine a day dedicated to trainers (praise be to Tinker Hatfield – he designed them FYI).

For all the dedicated disciples out there, here are six of the most admired and sort after Air Max sneakers.

With 99 per cent of people mixing up the Christmas Nativity story, it’s no wonder if the details of his death feel a bit murky too.

Here’s the opportunity to refresh your memory. Find out how just well you know the Easter story from the Bible.

So important. (Picture: Getty)

Carbs. The good stuff. An essential part of every healthy diet, and every happy life.

They’re there for you. They comfort you. They are your friend forever, and will stay loyal even when you run off and try the Atkin’s diet for four hours.

You and carbs are a serious, deeply loving relationship that will last forever. We get it. We understand in a way that only other carb lovers know.

We, too, are deeply committed to pizza, pasta, bread, and anything else of the comforting carb variety. We understand, and so do these tweets.

1. Because a life without carbs is so rarely a happy one

The best way to enact revenge against politicians being awful people when it comes to women’s rights (you know, other than voting or running for office)?

Cover their faces in period blood.

Not their actual faces, because you will get arrested. But teeny tiny printed versions of their faces, lovingly added to the gusset of your underwear.

Finally, someone has made underwear to allow you to do just that. Cute Fruit Undies has created special underwear designed to be worn when you’re on your period, with the faces of select politicians ready and waiting to be drenched with your blood.

How will you meet the love of your life? (Picture: Getty)

Had another bad day of unsolicited dick pics and misspelled first messages?

Don’t worry too much. You don’t have to find the love of your life on Tinder.

There are other ways to meet people, as gloriously displayed in quite possibly the most romantic Reddit thread of all time, which asks: ‘How did you meet the love of your life?’

Sure, the majority of people appear to have met their significant other when they were both in primary school, which kind of makes us feel like it’s too late for us.

And quite a few do say Tinder.

But don’t give up hope. These people have found love… Read the full story

bh monday

Happy Monday! The first Monday bank holiday of the year always feels the sweetest.

After a jam packed Easter weekend involving a whole lot of chocolate, lamb roasts, TV and family time it’s obvious that we all require an extra day in order to relax and gather our thoughts before going back to work.

But ever wondered if there was a biblical connection with Easter Monday? Or why we have the day off?

Read our simple guide for more information.

What is it?

Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday, and it is a bank holiday in the UK.

It is also known as Bright Monday, Renewal Monday, Wet Monday and Dyngus Day.

What are the origins?

Nothing actually happened on this day, there are no biblical origins for this day, and Christians are not required to observe it.

It does not form part of the Easter story.

How is it celebrated?

They claim that it is one of the most stressful life experiences possible – and for f****** good reason.

Pardon my language, but you may have guessed that I write this angst-ridden post while in the middle of moving from one flat to another, a process that is a bulging minefield of red tape, awkwardness and stress that has left me regretting ever considering leaving my mum’s house when I was 19.

I’d rather be sat in a dentist’s chair having my teeth wrenched out with rusty pliers than enduring this administrative pain in the arse, but needs must if I want… Read the full story

Who needs Cadbury? (Picture: The Fry Up Police/Facebook)

What do you do at Easter when your partner’s tastes are more sweet than savoury?

You could just buy them a tube of Mini Eggs and tell them to deal with it.

Alternatively, you could weave them an Easter egg out of strips of fried bacon and fill it with a tasty fry up of beans, fried eggs and hash browns, like Jordan Francombe’s girlfriend did.

After Jordan shared his girlfriend’s creation on The Fry Up Police’s Facebook page (where people go to judge each other’s fry-ups), it’s caused quite the stir online.

The notoriously brutal Fry Up administrators seem to be a fan of… Read the full story

Peter Berkowitz shared these photos of a 8x3.5x4.5' bedroom pod that he built in a friend's bedroom in San Francisco, where he lives due to high cost of living in the Bay Area. Berkowitz says that the pod is "kind of silly," but so are San Francisco's "absurdly high housing prices."
Who would live in a house like this? (Picture: Peter Berkowitz)

It’s what an estate agent would probably refer to as a ‘compact’, ‘open-plan’ living space.

Illustrator Peter Berkowitz lives in a box, or, as he prefers to call it, a 28 sq ft ‘bedroom pod’, in his friend’s lounge.

Peter, 25, was forced to come up with the innovative housing solution after realising… Read the full story

It might be the high-waisted grandpa trousers. It could also be because he looks like the sort of granddad who would save his last toffee for you.

But we suspect the reason these photos of a grandpa with his new dog have provoked such an emotional reaction online has a lot to do with how happy they both look to have found each other.

After Twitter user Jess Amante, from California, shared a couple of pictures of her 90-year-old grandpa with his adopted pup Penny earlier this month, writing: ‘My grandpa just got a new dog and… Read the full story

Coffee and canines (Picture: The Dog Cafe/Instagram)

It has struck us as a little strange that there are so many cat cafes around, yet so few dog cafes (lots of dog friendly establishments mind).

Dogs are, let’s face it, much more sociable, much easier company, and far less likely to be plotting your downfall and ultimate demise.

The good news is that imbalance may be set to change with the opening of a brand new dog cafe.

The Dog Cafe in LA lets you play with pups while you order your morning coffee. And, if you happen to fall in love with one of them, you’re in luck – all of the… Read the full story
